We stayed just long enough for a weekend, to take advantage of the latest snow. We would have happily stayed there for an intense week! Welcoming environment, family atmosphere, rooms in perfect mountain style, excellent quality and plentiful food. Absolutely recommended for every aspect! Special thanks to the wonderful family who manages everything, you made us feel at home. We will definitely be back!

Oltre agli ottimi piatti , la Locanda del cacciatore è Casa , un ambiente amichevole e confortevole. L'accoglienza della Sig.ra Luigina riempie il cuore , soprattutto a noi che in Gromo abbiamo tanti bei ricordi , e tanti bei ricordi della locanda che frequentavamo con i nostri genitori. Un grazie speciale Luigina , sei sempre nei nostri ❤️

Casoncelli abbondanti ma di scarsa qualità (non fatti in casa), cotoletta alla milanese (scoperta essere di pollo) surgelata. Insomma "malino", conviene prendere i classici piatti che richiedono una lavorazione al momento..

05/04/2024: impeccable as always, the "special" dishes are exceptional, it's a shame you can only order them once. All you can eat for dinner 27.90 to which however a 2 euro cover charge must be added (I would remove it).
01/04/2024: Too many restrictions on some dishes to which they put a limit and limited choice of something that I have never found in other chains... but very particular location

26/02/2024: good portions, fast service, excellent food: casoncelli, risotto, gnocchi and then braised meat with sweet onions and venison morsels with polenta and finally hot chocolate cake with pistachio and delicious caramel panna cotta. And finally a truly honest account. We will be back!
14/02/2024: We ate newly promoted porcini mushrooms in the second course and mouth-watering chocolate and pistachio cake. We thought we'd bring it home for our friends too...
