Beautiful place also for an aperitif and excellent cicchetti

Bah! Fabulous and historically fascinating setting. Spritz not good, not abundant (at the price of €4 and €4.50). But the main flaw is the wait: half an hour between spritz, three crostini and toast. Fairly good croutons and good toast (maybe a little). In any case, the setting perhaps repays the wait.

The location is suggestive, nice, the service quite good, even if I ordered a mixed fish dish and found the octopus filled with sand... an annoying experience. I found the bill a little expensive. Overall ok but it can be improved

Bellissimo ambiente, molto familiare con ottima cucina. Aperitivo da consumare sul soppalco (crea la giusta atmosfera). Consigliatissimo.

Five years ago we stumbled on this restaurant and had a nice sit down with coffee and snacks. The restaurant is situated in a former water mill, water water wheel still running and the outdoor seating area offers a nice view over the Brenta river. As we were visiting a villa in the neighbouring town of Mira, we were eager to renew our acquaintance with the restaurant. It was busy on the outside seating area due to the glorious weather, but luckily one table was in the process of being vacated, so that table was ours. I selected a special local beer with a plate of delicious bites. The service was again OK and prices were a bit higher, but that is to be expected. A charming place and a nice sit down with a fine view over the river Brenta. Oh, yes, the beer was up to standard.
