Donna Anna is truly synonymous with Abruzzo tradition, quality, craftsmanship but also with innovation and modernity. In addition to the Lamese Sfogliatella, I recommend its cakes: sponge cake and delicious creams. Cakes that are not only beautiful to look at but also to taste! Laura is super helpful and kind. Advised!

At the entrance it seems like a fairytale place, a doll's house. The reality is that it has exquisite and truly special desserts.

A small corner with attention to every detail and where the scent of sweet delicacies hits you as soon as you cross the entrance threshold. Inside, everything is managed amiably by Mrs. Anna, kind and thoughtful, who has a nice explanation for everything, including history and curiosities. I recommend the freshly baked Abruzzo puff pastries and their fantastic “Ratafià” liqueur, made from fresh black cherries, a tasty treat to definitely take home. My compliments to "Secrets of Donna Anna", which has many secrets to reveal and discover, but only for a few connoisseurs.

22/03/2024: The fish products used gave the impression of being fresh, what disappointed me were the sauces which seem to have been taken from the jar, heated and added to the dishes. Then honestly three first courses, two starters, a skimpy second course, a quarter of wine, two coffees, a bitter, 127 euros, seems seriously exaggerated to me, despite the sweetness, professionalism and courtesy of those who served us at the table. The Diabolik mussels, I'm not saying they were disgusting but it was close, there wasn't a mussel that wasn't stuck to the shell almost as if to say we've been here for days, dry and dry so I paid for a dish that didn't do you justice. Not recommended.
21/03/2024: The place is very nice and conveys reliability and warmth but it would also be nice to give it a "update" on some things, as I recommend, but very enveloping and pleasant. We took an appetizer of 9 tastings consisting of a cold dish (marinated anchovies, marinated salmon, seafood salad, a fish fillet with excellent Lucanian crusco pepper) then as hot stuffed mussels, a scampi, a stuffed razor clam and tuna Sicilian style. All very tasty, pleasant and I would like to underline the great quality and freshness of the fish. Then we ordered the mussels diabolik, that is, things poached in tomato with chilli, very tasty but the mussels were a little dry and the tomato seemed to have been undercooked... everything would have been better if the mussels had been meatier and perhaps the tastier and cooked sauce. The bread that was offered to us was of great quality and of different types and therefore also pleasant when tasting the different dishes. For first courses we took: the gnocchi with prawns and clams, exceptional, the same thing for the paccheri, prawns, scampi, olives etc. which were also perfect both in flavor and in cooking and then the rigatoni with scampi and prawns and here too the problem is always the sauce was, as if it were undercooked. As for the octopus, it was certainly delicious but we were disappointed because at least two tentacles must be inserted... one tentacle is really small. We also really appreciated the freshly grilled vegetables, the truly courteous and precise service, in short, an excellent restaurant with a little something to fix but we will definitely return.

Ristorante Pizzeria Caruso

05/04/2024: The food was good although the prices were perhaps a little higher than average. Unfortunately, the service lowers the rating as the waiter brought us an unsolicited focaccia, passing it off as a complimentary gift from the house, when in fact it was charged to our bill, which is certainly a questionable attitude. The clean and elegant environment.
25/03/2024: From the outside the restaurant appears a bit anonymous, while upon entering it overturns expectations by an elegant and formal restaurant with great attention to detail; a very interesting detail is the glass which leaves the meat cooking area exposed. Excellent quality pizza and meat, fast service which however did not fully satisfy us.
