27/03/2024: Defining the interior as unique seems like little to me, perhaps slightly chaotic but nevertheless very pleasant. Very good first and second courses of meat (especially the guinea fowl, very soft and tasty). The only two flaws, I really hope they are intended as advice rather than as criticism, are first and foremost the service: we sat next to a table of probable regular customers and seeing a lot of attention towards them and almost none towards us, it was a a little demeaning.
Secondly the quantity and price of the dessert; presented to us as "3 tastings" we were brought a palette with at least 7/8 desserts which, although of excellent quality, were objectively too many, as it was the conclusion.
With a little more attention to the customer, given the excellent quality of the cuisine, we could aspire to much more.
25/03/2024: Da molti anni La Fontanina è il mio ristorante preferito a Verona. Nicola e Marta ti accolgono in questo luogo magico, antichità, oggetti d’arte, specchiere, piante rigogliose in ogni angolo. Un atmosfera suggestiva e di gusto unica. Parlando del menu’, che dire, tutto ottimo, materie prime di qualità, e bellissima presentazione dei piatti, Nicola e’ uno chef eclettico con il gusto del bello. Ah, dimenticavo la cantina, fornitissima e Marta sa consigliarti sempre al meglio.
