family dinner during our holiday in Florence. We tried and above all enjoyed the true cuisine of the Florentine tradition. The pasta with white truffle is excellent and the "classic" Fiorentina is sublime. Simply perfect size and cooking of the meat. Specifically, not being Florentines, we really appreciated the way in which the very nice and super professional ilham explained to us the various cuts, weights and cooking methods of "Fiorentina". Piccolo, ma elegante con una clientela sofisticata ed internazionale, ha nella cordialità e gentilezza del personale il suo pezzo forte. Lista dei vini ricercatissima e menù vario e molto invitante. Bravi!

Per festeggiare il nostro 30° anniversario di matrimonio, mio marito e io abbiamo scelto questo locale attivo da oltre 60 anni, nella centralissima via del Parione, dall'atmosfera piacevolmente ovattata, con le sue eleganti boiseries e luci soffuse (queste ultime sono proprio quel che ci vuole, a una certa età;-)). Vi abbiamo anche trovato un'accoglienza sorridente e un servizio rapido e più che affabile. Proposte culinarie: ottimi sia il segato di carciofi freschi con scaglie di Parmigiano, che la parmigiana di melanzane, che le polpette con salsa di pomodoro e piselli, che l'ossobuco alla fiorentina. Soffice e delicata la purée di patate come contorno. Deliziosi pure i dessert (tiramisù e gelato alla crema) e ben preparati i cocktail pre-cena (un Kir Royal e un Negroni). Eccellente anche la carta dei vini (noi abbiamo optato per un gradevole Morellino di Scansano). Ristorante consigliatissimo, insomma.
