On the road to Marradi, a typical "old" trattoria with a giant fireplace that dominates the room, good cappelletti, excellent tortelloni (tortellini, for their menu) and their own homemade 🍞. Nice atmosphere, and a dessert called "bicchierino", all to be discovered...

I ate there for lunch, fantastic homemade tortelli that melted in your mouth, then the glass for dessert, an explosion of flavors and goodness. Thanks also to Mirco for his courtesy.

Per il terzo anno consecutivo festeggiamo il Natale pranzando al Camino e ogni volta questo giorno diventa più speciale per la nostra famiglia. L’atmosfera familiare, la cucina superlativa ma casereccia, i proprietari che ti accolgono come un parente invitato alla festa.. tutto rende il pranzo al Camino una tappa irrinunciabile.

Di passaggio, mi sono fermato in questo ristorante assieme ad un'altra persona. Andavamo di fretta e pertanto abbiamo ordinato crostini e tortelli al ragù e al cinghiale. Buoni i crostini anche se ne avrei graditi uno in più nel piatto. I tortelli non mi son parsi i classici tortelli mugellani perché il ripieno era una specie di cremina di patate e non un ripieno consistente. Ho visto portare dei bei secondi pertanto mi riservo di ritornarci. Ambiente niente male e buono il servizio. Prezzo nella norma.

05/04/2024: This year is our 3rd time going! And then three days in a row. We like that Dario is always present, willing to take a picture with everyone. 2020 was the first time we've been and the prices and menu are still the same! Great that it is possible! First of all, the tartare is delicious! All other pieces of meat in between too. Finally, the Florentine steak is also delicious! It is true that sometimes you get a piece of meat that is a bit hard due to the BBQ or a piece with too much fat, but then you can say this and ask for another piece of meat. You will be nice and full at the end of the evening! You know half the table and without you knowing it the bottles of wine are gone!
04/04/2024: Needless to say: booking a lunch or dinner here is truly an experience. And if it is true that today it is also a great commercial marketing operation, the food (especially the meat) is superlative, whatever menu you choose. The atmosphere is always joyful, and Cecchini himself takes care to greet all the guests. The staff is attentive and thoughtful. Reservation essential.
