During a recent cultural visit to Palazzo Rospigliosi in Zagarolo, organized by the FAI group, we had the opportunity to have lunch in the ancient stables of the building, now transformed into a restaurant thanks to the purchase of Tancredi delle Fratte in 1931. This experience has not only satisfied our thirst for culture, but also allowed us to discover and taste a typical dish of the area, the crazy thrush: an inviting horse meat roll prepared with lard and spices. I highly recommend you savor it, both through the photo I will share and in person.
The venue itself is a blast from history, with its impressive barrel-vaulted ceiling reminiscent of the interior of an airship, offering a spacious and uncluttered atmosphere. Despite our accommodation on the lower, more intimate floor, the environment has never lost its charm or comfort. The service, then, was impeccable: two young waitresses, courteous, smiling and incredibly patient, handled our every request professionally.
From the bruschetta with chicory to the pasta to the gurnard dish, each course was a pleasure for both the palate and the eyes, with generous and expertly prepared portions. The question is not if I will return, but when. Special thanks go to the restaurant for making this day unforgettable with exceptional service.

Ristorante storico al centro del paese, locale accogliente personale qualificato e cordiale. Cibi di primissima qualità e con la giusta elaborazione. Unici nei, menù solo digitale di non facile lettura..e alcuni prezzi non adeguati, abbiamo preso un buon tiramisù però ad 8.50..e delle bruschette a non proprio meritevoli delle 2.50 spese. Ottima l'idea dei liquori serviti sul carrello

Un peu de mal à trouver l’entrée piéton car Google situe le parking du restaurant …
Mais une fois arrivée, personnel charmant et diligent, pizza très bonne tant la pâte que la garniture, baba moins bon que notre recette car ce n’est pas de la pâte à savarin !!!
