Super good, friendly staff but of all the restaurants we visited in Rome, it was the most expensive (probably because the Vatican is nearby)

We landed here "on the rebound" as we neglected to make a reservation at our target restaurant (for a Wednesday night). They were not that busy and we were able to get a table. We ordered: rigatoni carbonara risotto con radicchio, gorgonzola e noci in crosta di parmigiano ossobuco al vino rosso insalata mista The dishes were all quite tasty but there were a few misfires: We like pasta al dente but the rigatoni was close to being crunchy. On the other hand, the ossobuco tended to be a bit chewy and probably needed more cooking. The wine list is extensive and reasonably priced. We ordered a bottle of Paternoster Synthesi 2017. It was quite good. After dinner, they provided glasses of complimentary homemade limoncello. A very nice touch. A pleasant dinner overall. Service was friendly and attentive.

I confirm after years of frequenting the Panzotto restaurant: EXCELLENT, from the kitchen to the dining room, from the very kind and professional owners, to the friendly and fast service... I would give it a sixth star.

Particularly refined place with typical dishes of the Roman tradition. Ate an excellent spaghetti carbonara accompanied by a glass of high-quality red wine. Definitely worth returning and still highly recommended. Finally, mouth-watering desserts 😉

Prodotti di buona qualità e personale molto cortese. Molto buona la carne e i primi piatti. Migliorabili i saltimbocca, piuttosto asciutti e con una fettina di prosciutto quasi invisibile. Prezzi un po’ alti, forse dovuti anche alla zona.

Ristorante carino, camerieri gentili. Sui piatti direi che sono buoni, ma potrebbero avere uno sprint in più e che le porzioni sono un po’ piccole. Dolci molto buoni.

The setting was beautiful, such a nice atmosphere. Very safe area. Service was on point! The waiter was delightful, explained certain dishes, and was quite understanding of our really poor ability to speak Italian! Food was fantastic! We were greeted with a warm smile, and wished a nice evening upon our exit. The food was traditional Italian, with deep, rich flavors, yet had a new depth (or a “kick” as my daughter said) which made the dishes extra special. Portions were huge! Overall, I would give this place a 20 out of 10 if possible!
