We were well welcomed in this well decorated restaurant. The service was very kind and helpful. All dishes tasted were well prepared and tasty. The price was fair and average for the area.

Experience to be redone. Even though it was a lunch with the school, they proved to be very honest with simple but excellent food, very welcoming and approachable people, excellent service, generous portions, a homely, clean and welcoming place. U café is pavatu! 😂👍🏼

The Templar restaurant is an intimate venue in the historic center of Lecce. The location is ancient, very spartan, rustic but well kept.
The waiters are very kind, young and polite. Ditto the nice and very funny older waiter.
Really tasty fritti, good pizzas. Normal prices and very quiet. To return

Quiet restaurant located in the center but away from the crowds. Fast service, very nice waiters especially the older one. Typical dishes of the Salento tradition, generous portions, quality products and normal prices. Very good pizzas. We ordered 2 orecchiette with turnip greens, a pizza with croquettes, a portion of turcinieddi, a natural water, a craft beer and a house bitter made of various herbs and we spent 60 euros.
Highly recommended.

A very well looked after restaurant with quick, friendly and competent service. We ate very well, in particular we all took traditional Salento dishes: Ciceri and tria (very good), orecchiette with turnip tops, broad beans and chicory (excellent) and bombette. We spent €43 in total for 2 people.
I recommend Ciceri e tria, a pasta with chickpeas and some fried pieces of pasta, very good.
A very popular place also for tourists, as it is right in the centre.

First, what made this restaurant enjoyable for us (as it may not be to everyone's taste) — if you go inside (it was October), rather than sitting outside, you can avoid most of the other tourists and have a more 'Italian' experience (locals, families etc). We just had a light meal (OK, some of the locals were eating pizza) but the pasta was really excellent, the wine was good, and the desserts (quality, not quantity were excellent).
