Truly characteristic place in the center of Monteriggioni, excellent welcome and family service! Excellent crostoni with local products mixed to enhance their taste. A great place for lunch while visiting the village.

Lunch on the fly to visit the village. The environment immediately transports you to a medieval inn. The off-menu crostoni are recommended.

Ambiente conviviale e tipica accoglienza toscana sempre apprezzata! Locale medievaleggiante con vista pittoresca sulla chiesa. I prodotti serviti sono tutti locali e di qualità , con un'attenzione particolare riservata a quelli di origine più antica, di cui peraltro il titolare si premura di spiegare la storia. Prezzi sicuramente interessanti se paragonati agli altri locali del borgo!

17/12/2023: As a super Sicilian transplanted to Siena for work, I thank the staff for the delicious arancini and 100% Palermo cannoli. But the ricotta cake for my birthday was unsurpassed. I, who am a fundamentalist of Sicilian cuisine and pastry making, felt at home. Thanks for the birthday lived a little closer to home. Also highly appreciated by the Tuscans. Here we are not talking about a place where Sicilian cuisine is imitated. Here we talk about authentic Sicilian pastry shops and diners. Siena is lucky to have a place so close at hand. keep it up. And long live Sicily.

Osteria Le Sorelline

09/03/2024: Beautiful traditional restaurant in the center of Siena. I was warmly welcomed and treated with great affection by the staff. Traditional food, really good. Very good house wine. Low price. Super recommended.
18/02/2024: Small tavern in the center of Siena, very small place but the food is really excellent. Pici with ragù delicious but the dish that surprised us was the yellow pumpkin gnocchi on a bed of pecorino and truffle fondue, really special!! Very kind waiters and also very nice to our dog despite the small environment they did not create any kind of problem!!!
