Everything was delicious. There is also daily menu (for dinner only), you get 2 dishes meat or fish and desert + limonchello just fot 25€

We had dinner there twice during our two-day stay in Amalfi. We had fresh pasta with seafood, fish in lemon sauce, mussels in lemon stock and gnocchi Sorrentina. The food was wonderful, the price was completely ok (2 dinners for 2 people including water, beer, half a liter of wine each evening around 40 euros). What was particularly nice was that it was obviously a family business: Nonna sits at her own little table and is extremely hospitable. Definitely go there. Anyone who likes fish and Italian food will love this place.

We stayed one evening, and had two excellent fish soups. Homely atmosphere, kindness of the staff. Prices normal. We had a really good time. I advise!

Excellent restaurant. Patrizia in the kitchen and Andrea in the dining room ensure quality service and dishes. Excellent value for money compared to other places in the area. Worth trying

The food is really delicious. The seasoning is just right and the taste is carefully cooked to bring out the natural taste of the ingredients. The house wine is also cheap and delicious. Overall I recommend it

Delicioso Scaloppine al Limone - By far the best tasting Veal Scallopini I have ever had. The flavor and textures of this dish were excellent – the tender veal, the light crisp of the flour coating at the edges, and the lovely flavor of the lemon sauce were all PERFETTO! In addition to the excellent food, il Veliero has a very nice atmosphere, very friendly staff, and they give great attention to detail in the presentation of the food, and I really appreciated the nice cloth napkins. An overall wonderful dining experience. My family returned for a second meal and everything was equally as excellent as the first. We will be eating here often during future trips to the Amalfi Coast! Grazie Mille il Veliero!

30/10/2023: Fantastic food, whether fish or meat, pasta or dessert. What Raffaella and Erika conjure up in their kitchen is amazing. We enjoyed it so much that we even went there twice within a week. And thank you to the entire team for being there just for us on “your last evening”! Mille Grazie!
29/10/2023: I have been travelling Italy north to south (including Sardinia) for the past month. This is a 3 star restaurant compared to the high end restaurants I have been to. In positano, you will either pay for the view or the food or rarely both. This restaurant does not provide a view. The ambience inside the restaurant is nice but very basic. This brings me to critique the food here. We (a couple) had a pasta each, a main dish, and a dessert. When plates are priced at 23 to 35 euros a plate, I expect a wow factor or originality to the plate. This is your very basic standard "nonna" restaurant. The taste is good but no Wow. My seabass plate was a bit underwhelming. The tiramisu that I had was same as the one I got for 3 euros the day before. Here is my recommendation to you, this place is quite a drive up through very tight roads (as everywhere else), so I wouldn't displace myself specifically to go eat at this restaurant.
