Let's start with how to get there for someone who is not local: Getting there was a bit complicated given the narrow streets (very narrow) and the traffic chaos. Once we arrived, it was 8pm on Friday and the traffic was normal. Having parked a few meters before because even finding a parking space is complicated, we entered the store. Friendly welcome, excellent food and excellent prices. Variety of sandwiches and sauces (homemade). For a quick lunch or dinner on a budget, it is highly recommended

But how good is the kebab at Uncle Mario's, the first in Paternò to bring kebab and remains the only one in Paternò to offer an excellent kebab, despite other establishments also under original management.

The only gluten-free kebab in Catania and its province, good kebab and friendly staff prepared for celiacs. As a celiac, it's worth getting to Paternò to eat the kebab again, I recommend it!

I was looking for a place where I could let my son (who is celiac) taste a good kebab. From Catania we came here on the advice of a trusted person and I must say that it did not disappoint our expectations at all! My son even did an encore😅. Delicious everything and a great variety of handcrafted sauces. We will return

06/02/2024: Having happened by chance on February 4th, when it was impossible to travel and park in the center of Catania due to the feast of Sant'Agata, we pleasantly discovered a kitchen that makes typical dishes from Catania and beyond. You also have the possibility of eating on site as it has tables and chairs. The food, although elaborate, is never heavy, it is made with good raw materials and generous portions. The owners' service is really kind, thoughtful and patient. Personally I consumed 3 main courses, side dishes and dessert, all delicious.
09/01/2024: Excellent quality food, home cooking. Excellent raw materials. I absolutely recommend it! Places like this that stand out from the crowd are welcome.
