Small place, but very welcoming.
We ordered 2 couscous, one Trapanese style and the other meat with vegetables.
Fantastic, I smelled all the scent of the sea and the flavors of North Africa, presented as they really are prepared. Authentic aromas and flavors.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
You can't not come here.
Excellent quality/price.

For me a must, when I want to taste couscous. The trattoria (which also has a space reserved for takeaway) is run by a family from Trapani who offers dishes from that area. Among the other specialties that you can take home is the "Rianata" pizza. Another noteworthy specialty, which can be tasted in the adjacent restaurant, is the Trapanese-style busiate. Seeing is believing!
Update 4 April 2024: The couscous was not up to the usual standards. I hope it's just a one-time occurrence

It is a Trapani-style couscous laboratory with a sublime flavour, which follows tradition and with some small innovations.
Very affordable prices.
I can say about the restaurant that every time we went we ate well and had particularly generous dishes.
In addition to the couscous, the appetizer of bottarga on fresh ricotta is notable.
I advise

I would like to recommend it. We had an excellent experience with generous and tasty dishes. The service was also attentive and friendly. The place is very small, better to book. However we were provided for and managed to sit despite not having reserved a table. I would like to negatively criticize the 3 euro cover charge.

Excellent Sicilian cuisine, very friendly waiters and staff, and the cherry on the cake, incredibly reasonable prices!
We were there twice in three days, to say if I recommend it.
Not to be missed in Palermo.

I had dinner at the Kus Kus restaurant with my daughter and we were thrilled with the choice. The restaurant is a couscousseria pizzeria offering meat and fish dishes. The place is small but welcoming, with a quiet and familiar atmosphere. The staff was very kind and professional, gave us good advice and served us quickly. We ordered the fish couscous with Trapanese soup, the Trapanese busiata and two cassatelle. The couscous was hand-cooked, as per tradition, and the fish was fresh and tasty. The pasta was al dente and the sauce was rich and tasty. The cassatelle were soft and filled with quality ingredients. The price was adequate, considering the quality and quantity of the food. I recommend this restaurant to those who want to try real Sicilian couscous, in a simple but refined environment.
