Getting there is a bit difficult, it's not much signposted but once you reach the location it's an immersion in nature, a beautiful place and a suggestive structure. The food is the best I have ever eaten in Calabria, belvedere restaurant number 1! Excellent value for money and excellent professionalism.

I had dinner at the Antico Palmento yesterday with my partner. We had missed each other for some time and I was happy to find the same flavors and the same welcome as always. The Antico Palmento is just like a real farmhouse should be, a rustic structure surrounded by nature with a beautiful view, simple dishes but cooked with love and excellent raw materials, all local. Don't expect an à la carte menu, the menu is fixed and varies depending on seasonal products. It includes a good selection of appetizers, two first courses, a second course of meat with chicken and pork, side dishes and to conclude the dessert, usually the donut, always homemade, or if you're lucky the pancakes with fig honey. Finally a good glass of fennel liqueur. The portions are generous and the price is more than fair, around 30 euros per person including drinks.

Characteristic location, well-kept lawn, clean structure. Excellent food, generous portions and above all reasonable prices. Friendly staff!

Siamo andati per una cena di famiglia, ci hanno avvertito prima della prenotazione del menù fisso ma non è stato un problema anche perché al momento sono stati disponibili e hanno chiesto se volevamo delle varianti per i bambini, oltre ad essersi assicurati su eventuali allergie o intolleranze. Iniziamo con una carrellata di antipasti vari di salumi e verdure tipici della zona e con gran parte delle materie prime di loro produzione. Continuiamo con due primi e due secondi. Incantevole tutto, lo consiglio vivamente, per deliziare palato e vista. Armonia di sapori e coreografia nella presentazione dei piatti. Assolutamente da provare.

When I booked and they described the fixed menu they would serve, I immediately thought about what I could skip because I was sure I wouldn't be able to eat it all. Then the first appetizers arrived which I began to enjoy with pleasure and from there I didn't miss a course. All good, but above all cooked with genuine ingredients and therefore very digestible and table service done with kindness and courtesy. To try. Fixed menu with various courses of typical Calabrian products, tasting of 2 first courses and grilled meat including pork and chicken. Very good house wine, finishing everything with slices of homemade and bitter donut. Very intimate environment and away from the chaos of the city.
