Historic restaurant in the center. Exceptional service, truly excellent food even if sometimes a little slow in preparation (everything is done on the spot and the quality is truly impeccable). I recommend it to anyone who wants to taste the flavors of Piedmontese tradition.

La Badessa is an excellent restaurant that offers a wide choice of refined dishes also with Piedmontese flavours.
The wait was short, both to take the order and for the dishes to arrive.
The location is particular because there are many portraits with related descriptions.
Really warm welcome, friendly and professional staff. Additionally, they offered us both the house amaro and a taste of the local San Simone amaro.

Piemontese food is not my favourite but this is as good as it comes. Most enjoyable evening. I read some ' average ' reviews but frankly that was not my experience. The food was really very good and I appreciated the personal service we received. Again a most enjoyable dinner.

The place betrays its age a bit, in a tender contrast with the square in which it is located which instead seems young and full of places for aperitifs and cocktails. The food was good and I would say suitable for tasting traditional Piedmontese cuisine. Attentive and elegant service. The price is absolutely correct and in line with other similar offers.

Visited for lunch with family. Opted for veal cheek with a cream of potatoes and vegetables. Definitely excellent! Location in a historic building, professional and courteous service. Absolutely worth trying.

Una cucina piemontese favolosa in un ambiente accogliente sito in una splendida piazza di Torino. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo e il personale veramente gentile e disponibile. Ci è piaciuto talmente tanto che ci siamo venuti due sere di fila!!! Altamente consigliato!!

Leggendo le recensioni e osservando i pareri contrastanti, ero piuttosto indeciso se provare il locale. In effetti è stata una cena luci e ombre. Come antipasto ho scelto uno sformato di zucca al timo con fonduta di toma di Lanzo, buono e saporito. Ho proseguito con le agliatelle impastate al Barolo con ragù bianco di manzo e salsiccia del Roero, che per per essere fatta pasta in casa non è stato nulla di eccezionale, così come il sugo. L'amalgama non è ben riuscito. Mi aspettavo di più. Buona la mousse di zabaione. Per un locale storico, le aspettative era altre. Peccato.
