La Baita In Courmayeur

Great hotel, great amenities, great staff.

Excellent choice for spending beautiful days away from the city, a true oasis of relaxation. We immediately met at the reception, wonderful people who were helpful and kind, as were the restaurant staff who were always smiling and kind, ready to serve and please. But what left me with a wonderful memory is the spa of this hotel or rather, the staff, who are very knowledgeable, as well as always being available, very approachable, I had some nice conversations, receiving very professional answers to my questions. I received a craniosacral therapy massage performed by Daniele. Daniele looked at me and said: "you lady have some blockages that we can dissolve with this massage" For those who don't know, craniosacral therapy is a therapy that is good for everyone regardless of age, even pregnant women and baby, strengthens the immune system and heals the soul. Daniele is a wonderful person but above all he is a human, he is that person who knows how to "read" you inside, a person with great intuition. Daniele was right... after the massage which isn't really a massage, I had let go of heavy weights that I had been carrying around for years, or rather from other lives. I would have liked to have at least one more session but the departure was now close, I was about to leave in a few hours. I will definitely return here, where I met some wonderful, wonderful people, and certainly also some beautiful places to take long walks, the mountains are fascinating. It happens like this every time, when you leave something of you remains in that place and something about these special people accompanies you for the rest of your life. I thank Daniele for helping me, I thank all the staff of this beautiful hotel for the wonderful stay. Thank you🌹

We returned to Cervinia for dinner because it was really worth it! Very nice and welcoming place, excellent cuisine and top service

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gran Baita on a half-board basis through a Tui ski holiday. Room - our family room (for 3) was big enough and lots of storage, always clean and reset each day. Complimentary water in a small fridge. Tea and coffee making facilities (but no milk or creamer). Spa - clean, relaxing, and well appointed. Robes, towels, slippers, and flip flops all provided. Communal areas - always clean and tidy, lots of smaller areas designated for relaxing, reading, etc. Bar manager was on point the entire stay. Snacks of crisps, nuts, and breads brought with drinks in the evening. Drinks weren't inexpensive but comparable to anywhere else in the resort. Piano player offering entertainment each evening for pre or post-dinner times. Restaurant - buffet breakfast was excellent with lots of choice, anything you could want for breakfast (within reason). Fresh cutting loaves could do with being replenished as often these were small end pieces left if you arrived a little later (maybe a mamma or pappa arrived early to make a sneaky takeaway lunch 🤷‍♀️) You also need to ask for coffees etc to be brought out to you, the waiting staff don't often come with this option, although it's not a problem at all and included with breakfast. Restaurant - evening dinner is a 4 course meal with a choice of 2 antipasti, 4 primi, 4 secondi and 2 desserts. We could always choose something we fancied, as could our 16 year old son, but he enjoys a wide variety of foods. We did see children being served a children's menu, so it might be worth enquiring. The food was delicious always. Restaurant - staff were brilliant and more relaxed around us after a few days. They work very hard under the watchful eye of a Maître d’ who ensures everything is running smoothly and properly. We were mostly served by a young lady from Scilly who loves fish(!) we thought she was great 👍 but all the serving staff are very good. Transport - nothing was too much for Marco, the hotel shuttle driver. Free shuttle trips to the cable cars at Courmayeur, Dolonne and Monte Bianco, rides into town and other local journeys. Excellent bonus, which was much appreciated by tired ski legs at times! 🌟 The hotel, facilities, and staff deserve the 5* rating.

It's a nice clean attractive hotel with excellent mountain views. Although every building in Courmayeur must have views of the mountains which completely surround the area. The hotel faces highway SS26 which is audible around the clock, but with the windows locked it's quiet enough to sleep. That said, the hotel claims to have soundproofed rooms. But, I certainly don't believe any soundproofing here is close to good enough. It's incredibly easy to hear people talking in the hallway and other rooms. If noise bothers you think twice about this hotel. I can hear guests talking in adjoining rooms as well as upstairs. Even in rooms across the hall. The breakfast buffet offerings are good but far from inspired. But the service is excellent. The shuttle to the ski area is great, and quite necessary given the distance from the historic town center and ski lifts. Nice hotel, unfortunately for the holidays there are big groups here and lots of kids. So noise is an issue and it goes on through the night.

Hotel elegante, meraviglioso, curato nei minimi dettagli, cucina eccellente, personale molto cordiale e attento ad ogni esigenza. Piscina stupenda con centro benessere. Un ringraziamento ai proprietari e a tutto lo staff per lo splendido soggiorno. Torneremo prestissimo! Grazie

Ottima posizione nel cuore di Courmayeur. Personale gentile, cordiale e disponibile. Le camere sono ben tenute, calde ed accoglienti. La colazione è abbondante, internazionale. La spa non è molto grande. La parte forte dell’hotel è la hall, con ottima vista e ben arredata.

Quest'anno ho deciso di trascorrere le festività natalizie e di fine anno in questa struttura. Struttura meravigliosa situata a due passi dal pedonale di cormayeur. Hotel molto accogliente e molto curato nei dettagli. C'è proprio tutto quello che serve per una vacanza strepitosa: SPA con piscina temperata, garage , camere spaziose e pulite, piano bar la sera, ottima la colazione e la cena, ma quello che rende il tutto armonioso e piacevole e senza alcun dubbio il personale come il maitre il signor Tiziano pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta e i ragazzi tutti sia a colazione che a cena ricordo solo i nomi di alcuni come Angela e Beppe. E non posso non menzionare il personale alla reception la signora Anna Paola e la signora Aline e non ultimo il Direttore disponibile e molto preparato. Complimenti alla proprietà !!!! Breve ma intensa vacanza di Natale in famiglia. Hotel elegante e arredato con stile. Personale gentile e sempre disponibile. Buona la cucina e ricca la colazione. Ottima la posizione, molto vicina al centro di Courmayeur. Piacevolissima la SPA che ci siamo goduti al massimo!! Consiglio di provare questa esperienza .
