Not a large place, made of wood and typically mountain, immersed in a beech forest and adjacent to the ski slopes. Content menu of wonderfully simple and genuine typical dishes. Service, rightly, not too formal. Prices more than fair. Suitable for all types of users and in all seasons. We had a really good time.

I had lunch at the Baita for the first time and I must say that the reviews are confirmed!! Excellent local food, ravioli reign supreme, excellent welcome, very friendly and efficient staff, you need to book in advance as it is small!!

Per caso eravamo di passaggio in un lunedì di gennaio, notiamo una baita e credevamo fosse chiusa. Invece no, aperta e con vista neve. La location è molto carina, essendo in settimana il ristorantino era vuoto (meglio) ed abbiamo pranzato in tutta serenità. Sapori lucani ben cucinati, servizio efficiente e prezzi nella norma dei luoghi

Locale rustico in un ambiente meraviglioso con un servizio familiare, cortese e autentico. Il cibo rispecchia l’arte culinaria lucana, di sostanza, qualità e soprattutto grande gusto. Antipasto con salumi, bruschette e verdure semplice e genuino. Ravioli al pomodoro davvero speciali, una delizia per il palato. L’agnello tenerissimo e saporito, e per chiudere in bellezza come dolce uno zuccotto alla crema di latte con savoiardi. Complimenti!

31/03/2024: Before entering I thought I was having lunch in a restaurant but my partner and I were really surprised to find the service of a starred restaurant! The food was delicious, a search for native raw materials processed as tradition dictates. The elegant location immersed in the green panorama of the Marateo hills. I highly recommend.

03/04/2024: My friends and I had lunch on Easter Monday and we were really satisfied with everything, good tasty food, a lot of friendliness on the part of Angelo (the manager) and a lot of courtesy, kindness and professionalism on the part of the dining room staff, especially Virginia, beautiful and nice waitress, I recommend you go there immediately.
03/04/2024: Excellent food... an environment surrounded by nature, the very hospitable family-run owner makes you feel like part of the family and then there is the super Virginia who is fantastic, very nice and very sweet...highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
