I stopped by chance while passing through Alba at the end of March....very kind staff, welcomed with a smile even without a reservation....excellent food and excellent wine cellar! Absolutely try their knife joke💣

Very friendly and very professional team who take their time to advise and share. We feel the love of the profession. Fine and delicious dishes accompanied by good wines (we recommend the tasting menu) and all this at very reasonable prices. Well done and thank you!

Typical tavern located in the center of Alba, it offers traditional dishes accompanied by an extensive wine list. Small but welcoming environment and friendly but very professional staff. Good value for money.

Restaurant discovered by chance in the streets of the centre. I must say that we were really satisfied, traditional dishes cooked with care (the cheek was superb). Attentive, attentive and helpful service. Cozy and charming environment, ideal for both couples and families. The waitresses are prepared and kind! We chose the pink veal with tuna sauce, tajarin with 40 egg yolks with sausage ragù and gnocchi with castelmagno cream, all really delicious! I was recommended a glass of red... Excellent pairing with fresh pasta. The two of us spent around €50. I advise

We went by chance while we were visiting Alba, worried because on the internet it was written that the kitchen closed at 2pm; They welcomed us very well, fast service and excellent food. I recommend, if they don't change the menu, to take the veal cheek... it melts in your mouth.

I had dinner here with my family in late February, and we left absolutely thrilled. Vast and original choice of starters (we chose the onion with fondue, duck breast and tomino salad with red onion), a few traditional first courses (phenomenal castelmagno gnocchi, tajarin 40 egg yolks a must), second courses made absolutely to perfection (we focused on the stracotto and the guinea fowl, choosing the latter as the best dish of the evening). The desserts should not be underestimated, among which I would recommend the panna cotta. Good selection of wines.

Osteria...di lusso nel centro storico di Alba ma si può parcheggiare in una grande piazza a 5 minuti; la piazzetta più vicina è sempre piena. Lista vini su tablet (ricca, ovunque nel locale ci sono belle bottiglie). Ci sono menù degustazione e il menù alla carta (sfizioso). Personale attento e professionale. Antipasti: insalata di petto d'anatra con castagne, melograno e tartufo nero; carpaccio di trota affumicata con olive taggiasche e pomodorini. Ottimi ed in quantità giusta, ben impiattati. Primo: gnocchi di patate con Castelmagno. Un classico ma sempre buono. Secondo: faraona croccante al rosmarino. Una delizia. Dolce: torta di nocciola con spuma di zabaione fredda: non mi stuferò mai di gustarla... Un bell' Arneis e il pranzo è fatto. E bene.

Abbiamo cenato domenica sera presso questo ristorante….poco osteria di Alba Abbiamo mangiato discretamente bene dal vitello tonnato, alla battuta con tartufo bianco ai tajerin con tartufo bianco Peccato che non ti grattugino il tartufo al tavolo in quanto i piatti arrivano già con una modesta quantità di tartufo sulla pietanza. Rispetto ad altri locali provati. Servizio discreto … con qualche pecca. Con le opportunità gastronomiche che offre Alba ….. Non ci tornerei. Prezzi nella media e naturalmente grande enoteca…. ma nelle Langhe non ti puoi sbagliare.
