Typical restaurant atmosphere, but the menu is truly inviting. There were four of us and we chose mashed broad beans, seared octopus and creamed cod, followed by paccheri with pistachio pesto, lamb chops and baked lamb. We were also tempted by the pistachio semifreddo and panna cotta. Water and a bottle of good Pinot. All dishes were well presented and tasted great. Kind and accurate service. A restaurant to return to.

Unexpected pleasant discovery. A restaurant where you can eat really well and with attentive and very courteous staff. We tried the orecchiette with broccoli, anchovies and crusco pepper, the tortelli with chestnut flour and porcini mushrooms, the paccheri with pistachio pesto. Everything was great. Among the desserts, the ricotta foam with caramelized figs was fantastic. We will come back for sure. The only discordant note: the truly old style environment. It should be freshened up a bit.

Local located on Via Emilia. If you go on peak evenings like Saturday evenings parking can be a problem. The place seems to have remained stuck in the 70s/80s. Let's say that a bit of everything from the atmosphere, to the furnishings, etc. it has a modern antique aftertaste. I found the food excellent with points of excellence. The entire menu is dedicated to Lucanian cuisine including wines. Let me start by saying that I am a fan of that cuisine. In any case, the flavors of the chicory with broad bean purée, the orecchiette with crusco pepper, the cardoncelli mushrooms and other typical specialties of that area were truly a pleasant surprise. Apart from the octopus on pea cream which seemed rather ordinary and obvious to me (albeit well done) all the other dishes were very tasty and always well rooted in the relevant tradition. The service was professional, fast and I must say also friendly. The right portions. I would like it to be a little more abundant but I can't say that they were scarce (apart from perhaps the octopus). I would say the prices are more than honest, in fact they actively contribute to establishing an extremely positive price-quality ratio. Recommended regardless of gastronomic preferences. I will definitely be back.

Siamo tornati in questa trattoria che conosciamo ma da un po’ non andavamo! L”abbiamo trovata uguale e abbiamo mangiato benissimo dagli antipasti = sformatino ai funghi con grana, ai primi orecchiette con friarielli e paccheri con salsa su pistacchi buonissimi. Come pure la coscia di maialino con patata schiacciata e la tagliata e l”ombrina deliziosa! Un buon vino e i dolci da urlo come la zuppa inglese, la ricotta e la panna cotta! Ve la consigliamo e anche noi torneremo presto!!

Tornato dopo qualche mese che mancavo, innanzitutto ritrovo la solita cordiale e gioviale atmosfera in sala. L'arredamento non colpisce, tutto molto semplice, ma il cibo rimane una certezza assoluta! Buono tutto: dai salumi/formaggi lucani, purè di fave e cicoria sempre strepitoso ed il baccala piacevole sorpresa come antipasti. Orecchiette con peperone crusco sempre top tra i primi. Ottima scelta di vini anche naturali con ricarichi davvero super onesti. Complimenti davvero per essere rimasti sempre genuini nei sapori ed onesti nei prezzi!! Avanti tutta
