Cuisine délicieuse. Les ribs et les pâtes au sanglier étaient très parfumés, le tiramisu à tomber par terre. Service un peu lent

After over a week in Italy we had been really disappointed with the bread we had been served in the restaurants so the fantastic rolls in La Cantina del Macellaio made us very happy. I believe the restaurant was once a butchers shop and it has a slightly rustic feel with some of the meat hooks still hanging. We ordered a couple of pasta dishes and some beef/steaks, everything was cooker perfectly and the friendly service added to the experience. I would have liked just a little more mashed potato with my beef. This was our favourite meal in the Cinque Terre, we would go back tomorrow if we could.

31/03/2024: We ate there 2 evenings in a row and it gives a mixed review. On the menu, very good dishes the first evening. The second evening, disappointed by the pizzas. Otherwise, a good welcome and a pleasant setting.
25/03/2024: Dated but simple and welcoming place. Friendly staff. The waiting times are not long, the food is in abundant quantities, simple, typical of a trattoria. Right value for money. Arrangements can be made with the management for personalized dishes or for a pre-established menu. This way, if you want to offer or organize a group lunch, you know the cost. If the group is not large, the venue is equipped with a more intimate room. Pleasant for a family.

La Chioccia D'oro

30/07/2023: Vicino all’anfiteatro della vecchia Luni, un po’ difficile da trovare, immerso nel verde con giochi per bambini. Quella sera ce ne erano due che scorrazzavano e gridavano ( famiglia maleducata). Antipasto a buffet, niente di eccezionale, non abbiamo preso i primi, abbiamo preso la grigliata mista che ha la sufficienza, ma non mi ha lasciato un ricordo indelebile, da sei meno. Vino della casa appena passabile, conto per quanto mangiato forse un po’ eccessivo.
16/07/2023: Tavoli in un bel giardino, ambiente rilassante e familiare: questo lo sfondo per una gradevole cena in famiglia. Il pezzo forte del locale sono gli antipasti (a buffet o serviti) : grande qualità e varietà. Abbiamo assaggiato anche delle carni e siamo rimasti soddisfatti, per la pasta dovremo tornare. Buon servizio.
