It's a compromise.
If you really have to eat on the Aurelia towards Grosseto from Lazio then you can stop for lunch. We tried classic dishes of Tuscan cuisine. The preparations are fresh and plentiful but not of all courses. The best are the first courses, the second courses are discreet, the desserts are barely acceptable and the coffee is to be avoided.
I recommend it, but if you really have to stop!

Informal place, discovered by chance but much appreciated. The homemade pasta and the attention to the ingredients are very good. We didn't try the latter but we were still curious.

We stopped for a coffee, we also ate some excellent tart.
There was an inviting smell coming from the kitchen, it's a shame we didn't have time to have lunch.

Parking is super, 23 euros with a restaurant, food is super, payment by card or cash, refs are not allowed, at 20.00 there is one space left, parking for 13 cars

I always try to coincide with the night stop so as to have dinner at the Capanna. Excellent food, the lady is very kind and makes you feel at home. Ample parking for trucks, welcoming outdoor veranda to take the stress off. Highly recommended. By the way..... See you later.

Ristorante rustico con maneggio annesso nella campagna capalbiese di Torre Palazzi, una sala dominata da un grande camino, specializzato nel mezzo pollo "allo specchio" (da prenotare), ha buoni primi e brace. Consiglio i gnocconi soffici di patate o di zucca&ricotta, che come per le altre paste possono essere accompagnati da sughi con ragù rosso (cinghiale o manzo) o in bianco (anatra o cinta senese), poi tortelloni maremmani, bigoli, insomma una buona scelta a costo contenuto (tutto 10€) ; buoni anche i carciofi e il pollo fritti nel fuori menù. Scarsa l'offerta dei dolci. Si beve bene, il rosso della casa è Il Losco, un buon sangiovese della Azienda maremmana Santa Lucia (con ricarico contenuto a 10€). Il servizio, così vituperato in altre recensioni, nel nostro caso è stato buono e pure il conto, a parte il coperto a 3€ a persona, è stato sul medio - mediobasso.

Everything is good, from the water to the coffee, through to ... wild boar salami, red wine, pappardelle with wild boar ragù, baked suckling pig with potatoes...
We were lucky enough to arrive on a Sunday, with few people, quiet and tranquility.
The Hut has a particular, welcoming architectural structure.
Very courteous and attentive staff, kind and thoughtful.
Dedication and passion for this profession. They really deserve it.
