Absolutely must try! Phenomenal!

Remarkable experience on September 30, 2019 at this charming little restaurant with great service and exquisite cuisine. The restaurant is part of a particular, enchanting complex, with rooms available in B&B mode. All the rooms are arranged in small terraces on stairs leading down to the garden below with an adjoining swimming pool. The restaurant is located at the top of the complex. The environment is simple and refined and blends together, in perfect harmony, rustic elements with some more modern choices. The main room is welcoming and warm, despite the enormous glass window which gives a reassuring sense of openness. Possibility of dining outside on the very well organized terrace. Excellent welcome from the room manager, the two waitresses were very good and professional in carrying out the necessary tasks, always smiling and courteous. Excellent presentation of the menu, we therefore decided to comply with some suggestions. We started with Apulian burrata with grilled peppers and Cantabrian anchovies (perfect combination of flavors), and Battuta di scottona with horseradish mayonnaise, caviar, candied onion and fresh peas (a delight) We continued with passatelli asciutti with gurnard, a good, tasty dish (but perhaps the least successful of all), and foiegras with cherry reduction and grilled vegetables, a masterpiece of flavours. Personally, I concluded with beef entrecote, on a bed of aubergine parmigiana, with cherry tomatoes, excellent cooking, exquisite meat, very successful ensemble of flavours. We accompanied the dinner with a glass of excellent 2008 "eclipse of the sun", a wine recommended for its fruity and elegant bouquet. We conclude with burnt raspberry cream foam, very good but not the best compared to the Chocolate fluffy with chocolate cream, Greek yogurt and a dollop of passion fruit sorbet, the latter is truly the bomb. The Home_Made limoncello offered was good Recommended restaurant for more than one occasion, from a romantic dinner to a birthday, in both cases the surprise is guaranteed.

I was here for a dinner as a couple, we chose the 7-course menu and we were really enthusiastic about it, high quality food with really interesting combinations and we left very full. Very attentive service. We will definitely be back!

Locale molto bello e accogliente, piatti curati, di qualità e il personale di sala attento e preparato . Complimenti!

Servizio e accoglienza ottimi, cibo notevole, ottimo prezzo e vista lodevole. Abbiamo mangiato qui un giovedì sera, il servizio è stato molto ben fatto, camerieri e cameriere alla mano ma estremamente cortesi, coccolati con tanto di entree di benvenuto, spritz come aperitivo buono. Abbiamo proseguito con due antipasti molto buoni e concluso con un piccione in 3 cotture e uno scrigno di pasta ripieno (o qualcosa di simile), il piccione davvero spaziale. Come dolce abbiamo preso un semifreddo in due, molto buono. Pane, grissini e olio veramente buoni. Il conto è stato più che onesto. Unica nota l'ambiente è internamente molto bello mentre fuori nella terrazza ha dei tocchi un po' vintage che potrebbero essere sistemati (la vista resta molto bella sempre e comunque però). Il tocco vintage è rimasto anche in qualche piatto credo, ma sono la minoranza e in generale il livello è molto alto. Continuate così!

This place is a bit difficult to find, located on the other side of the train situation and away from the historical centre but it is well worth the effort. The food is absolutely amazing. The presentation is great. The little antipasti and mini dessert bites offered on the house were a very special touch. The starters, mains and desserts we ordered were all equally delicious. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and service received. Definitely a must try.
