Particular place immersed in the history of Castel Maggiore. Located in the Castello area along the (once navigable) canal of the navile which now hosts a beautiful cycle route along the Bentivoglio-Bologna-Casalecchio axis. The food is typical of traditional Bolognese cuisine with some touches of innovation and contamination... Excellent service and friendliness of the staff.

Very good first courses! The grill is also excellent. The crescentine are not greasy at all. The desserts are the classic ones (mascarpone, tenerina, sorbets, ...) and are delicious. Excellent service. Also recommended for special occasions.

Splendid location. The idea of ​​writing historical notes of the place in the menu booklet is wonderful, it's always nice to be able to have news about the places that have a history where you stop. The food was delicious (the tortelloni were amazing) and excellent value for money. Friendly staff. We will definitely return.

Great atmosphere with arched tile ceiling and walls. Very kind staff. Delicious food both in typical dishes such as tagliatelle with meat sauce and in particular proposals such as sweets. We went back again the next evening. Well done!

Sono tornato in questo locale nel comune di Castelmaggiore, locale ampio ed accogliente, personale preparato e gentile. Ben accolti i nostri cagnolini Luna e Gue. Cucina tipica Emiliana di qualità. Ci torneremo presto.

17/03/2024: Having dinner at the Priest's with the abbey in the background... It may have been the spring evening and the lights outside but I really liked the external aspect. The interior is very particular and dedicated to jazz as well as the very pleasant sound coming out in the background. Large tables well separated from each other so you don't have that "eat together" feeling that is found in many places. A la carte meat or vegetarian menu... I had a delicious platter of cured meats and cheeses with tigelle, a "tagliata", side dish of vegetables, fried potatoes and pistachio ice cream, still red house wine. It was the first time and hats off to everything excellent. Very friendly table staff. Average affordable price, I will definitely come back!

25/03/2024: Recommended place, very nice and good quality food, helpful and attentive staff, especially in case of allergies, I recommend it, the only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars and the price isn't exactly cheap, don't expect a trattoria, but don't stop only at that but from Overall I liked it a lot
