05/11/2023: We spontaneously went on vacation for a week to enjoy the last rays of summer sunshine.
The Miramonti is a nice, small hotel with very friendly staff and a nice look. The location is very quiet and in a good exclusive neighborhood.
The family room was great and we felt very comfortable as a family. The cleanliness was okay and the room was in good condition. The price for the accommodation wasn't low, but it was ok for us and we were even accommodated a bit for the extension.
The breakfast was very good, which was also due to the fact that everything was freshly prepared when ordered and brought to the table (no buffet). The selection of food could be a bit larger, otherwise it gets a bit monotonous, especially if you stay longer.
The dinner was very good and there are also individual dishes for children. But the restaurant is too expensive for everyday dinner. We would have been happy to see an attractive offer for hotel guests here.
There is very little negative to report.
The pool area is beautiful and unique especially in the evening when it is beautifully lit. But then you're no longer allowed to use it, you're just allowed to enjoy the view... We tried to use the pool in the evening, but we were banned relatively quickly. No reasons were given, only that it was outside the pool opening hours. We were alone in the hotel for a while so it wouldn't have bothered anyone. Especially in the evening, the pool area with the bar is incredibly beautiful and romantic... Why you can't use it until 8 or 9 p.m. and why it's even forbidden makes no sense. So if you want to pass the time in the evening, you have to leave the hotel.
The large glass veranda doors in the breakfast area should definitely be marked, otherwise children and adults can walk into them when they are closed. If the hotel floors are being mopped and there is a risk of slipping, a warning sign should be put up so that no one slips.
Otherwise, as I said, it was very nice, we can recommend the hotel and would like to come back.
05/11/2023: For us a corner of relaxation and elegance, our fixed stop at the fort, all the super friendly staff, Silvio and the whole family are now family. We tried in summer and low season always perfect rooms and top breakfast service. Restaurant with a very refined menu and extensive wine list. The chef is always kind and with the truffle we have now reached peaks of sublime excellence. Highly recommended…
