Excellent lunch, pappardelle with wild boar and mushrooms and a trio of delicious meats. delicious desserts. Furthermore, the portions are huge. We will be back.

I had heard very good things about it. But I didn't find their preparations up to their fame. The products seem of good quality but I wasn't crazy about the cooking.

Ottimo il primo, piatto forte del ristorante, fagioli al mare. L arrosto misto per secondo, purtroppo, tante ossa, poca carne, direi impresentabile.

Cucina cosidetta "casareccia" Il bestseller è la pasta e fagioli con le cozze. Caratteristico il camino, sembra di stare in una baita di montagna. I dolci da migliorare :)

Pranzo eccellente. Piatti con prodotti di qualità. Il cinghiale era veramente gustoso. Tutto accompagnato con dell'Aglianico della vicina cantina Frattasi. Da frequentare

Caruso Pub Art Caffetteria & Bakery

13/01/2024: The pub is nice, the beer and the food are good, but the wonderful thing is that the Bueapis, the most mysterious statue in the world, of unknown origin, can be seen from the outside of the pub, so one drinks, looks at the statue and he goes crazy (in the good sense, i.e. he doesn't think about the bills). It's worth it, also because it is located on the corner of the old entrance gate to Benevento, a good incipit for reading the city.
30/12/2023: We had aperitivo, 2 glasses of red wine, a bottle of water and some finger food. It sum up a total of 19€ (a bit expensive but we enjoyed the food & ambiance) not a typical bar where they serve nuts & taralli. the food served were bite sized, freshly cooked/prepared and scrumptious. The only downside is the toilet is too small.
