Rustic environment, very welcoming and knowledgeable all-female staff, tasty food in both the first and second courses, the desserts are also good. Good wine list with both local and non-region products. More than satisfactory value for money. After a first experience we were more than happy to return. Beautiful discovery!

A nice place, but the dishes are average despite the place wanting to pose as a chic place. The price is also high in relation to the food and especially the location. There are better, more accessible and nicer inns nearby at the same price. Ultimately, if I were to pass through the area again, I wouldn't return.

The place is delightfully rustic and welcoming. The homemade gnocchi as well as the pappardelle are excellent to say the least. Boar and lamb dishes are proportionate and well cooked. Fast and attentive service.

After a beautiful excursion in the western part of Umbria 💯✌️ we decided to combine lunch in this lovely restaurant which is located adjacent to the walls of the Carnaiola Castle... As soon as we entered, the sight of a beautiful fireplace lit in the corner of the room with sofa and armchairs to relax on they made us feel immediately at ease. A clean environment with tasteful furnishings... Sitting at the table they immediately came to take our order and in a short time we had our glasses of wine and some delicious dishes to say the least.

Locanda piccola ma molto carina. Immersi in pareti di pietra. Piatti ottimi, buon vino e amaro fatto in casa, eccezionale.

Friendly staff, the place was nice, I found the prices a little high compared to the quantity/quality of the dishes. I really liked the pappardelle with wild boar, the other dishes were normal.

In cerca di un ristorante in zona ci siamo imbattuti per caso in questo locale che si trova a pochi chilometri dall'uscita dell'autostrada. Il locale è arredato con cura e gusto. L'atmosfera è molto bella e sicuramente è un locale romantico. Ottima la cucina offerta dal Sig. Giuliano che ringrazio per la cordialità e la disponibilità. Il ristorante ha soddisfatto le mie aspettative. Consiglio a tutti i pici che vengono preparati al momento e di assaggiare il tartufo di Fabro. Molto buono anche l'antipasto misto. Nel complesso molto buono il rapporto qualità/quantità/prezzo.

This is truly a magical place. We arrived for dinner at around 9.50 on a Sunday and the owner waited for us even though it was late and he was all alone. The food was delicious, I had the homemade pappardelle with ragù di cinghiale. It was divine!
The main course and the sides were spectacular. This is proper homemade italian food and you need to know how to appreciate it.
The semifreddo was superb as well. Good choice of wine and everything is honestly priced. The owner is truly a very kind gentleman and very hospitable.
If you want to find true Italian hospitality and real Italian food this place is a must visit.
