La Maison du Chocolat In Avigliana

Discovered almost by chance, looking for a place for after dinner in the Avigliana area that was open on Sunday evening. A very pleasant experience with an original location, like a Parisian living room, an infinite menu full of delicacies, a selection of teas from around the world, slices of cake, many types of hot chocolate, affogatos, even toast and ramen and much more. This time we treated ourselves to an affogato, really good and generously sized in elegant ice cream cups as I had been struggling to find for some time now. I can't wait to go back, I think this is enough to make you understand how much I recommend it. Honorable mention to the fact that by not accepting tables with more than 5 people per table, a pleasant, intimate environment is preserved which offers a 5-star experience.

Particular and relaxing place, a little deco, very nice. You can enjoy hot chocolates, affogatos, cakes, chocolate fondues, everything is excellent, even the service.

A very wide variety of choices regarding sweets, teas, drinking chocolate and ice cream flavors and combinations. Nice spot with parking. Lovely atmosphere, especially for a cold or rainy day. The staff is very kind. The prices seemed high, but the portions justified them by far. Recommended 😊 There's also the option of replacing conventional milk to a vegan choice, you can consult the staff 👍

I read several negative reviews which were mostly about the service and their choice not to accommodate groups larger than 5 people. My experience was completely different because the service was impeccable and the choice of groups of less than 5 people was absolutely acceptable since for the type of place it is, you would risk finding yourself in a bedlam that is anything but pleasant. It is a tea room, where you can consume excellent desserts and truly delicious compositions, it would not make sense to allow traffic jams and unnecessary noise to arise. As for the menu, I must say that it is very broad and choosing is really difficult. Would make you want to order everything!! The portions and quality are absolutely consistent with the prices. The only negative note for us was the cream, which didn't seem homemade but the spray one. From a place like this you would expect fresh cream. The selection of biscuits was a little disappointing because we were expecting something wow with perhaps some chocolate or some special things, but instead we found simple, albeit excellent, classic dry biscuits. I will definitely go back because it's worth it.

It's home for us now. Elegant place to relax while enjoying the infinite choice of teas and delicious cakes (with huge slices). You are always welcomed like at home.

Ottima cioccolata con varie idee e tipologie. Ambiente simile ad un salotto bohemian. Peccato non aver potuto gustare biscotti tipici torinesi. Un neo, rivedrei la possibilità nella prenotazione con scaglioni per potersi organizzare e magari una divisa semplice per un effetto coreografico completo.
