Everthing's fine. You can find cheaper places, but here there is also a good price-quality ratio, so I highly recommend it.

All plates was perfect and on the top was the plate with artichokes.

we went there for drinks only they gave us some smoked almonds and olives to go with our wine we liked the atmosphere but it was very expensive

Perfect stop when you arrive in the upper city from the funicular or after a walk. The culinary offer is limited but the very varied wine list, the pleasant service and the care of the place make the stop worth it.

The food is tasty, not too large portions and the service fee of 4€ makes the cost of the meal high. The staff made a mistake with the order, so we waited longer for the replacement, but the overall impression was positive.

Amazing wine list and in addition to pages of bottles, they even offer a few half bottles which is cool. The tasting of the 9 DOP cheeses is a must. And yes, it's expensive and a little over priced but, it's a well-known restaurant on the main tourist drag in Citta Alta. If you're not expecting a place along that route to upmark its prices, you should just stay home.

This place is really beautiful and the outdoor space, a sort of loggia, is very well kept and it is really pleasant to eat there. I took a platter of mature cheeses paired with a glass of Barolo. Cheese ok, but wine wasn't that great...unfortunately!

The environment is wonderful and well-kept, excellent for a romantic lunch or dinner. We ate the casoncelli: there is no other word to describe them other than delicious. Soft, with fragrant pasta and bacon that melts in your mouth. They reminded me of the ones that my aunt prepares by hand for Christmas every year. If we were to return to Bergamo Alta we will certainly return to this restaurant to eat.

Lo scorso 30 dicembre 2023, ho visitato per la prima volta Bergamo alta e mi sono recando nel ristorante AI Donizetti. Mi sono detto proviamo questo ristorante. Ci hanno accolti con un sorriso e con tanta gentilezza, fin da subito ci hanno dato del pane da bagnare nell'olio. Io e la mia compagna abbiamo mangiato Casoncelli con burro e pancetta e gnocchetti con gorgonzola. Non essendo della zona ho chiesto al cameriere dei consigli su cosa visitare e mi ha prontamente risposto (dandomi i consigli) con molta educazione. Sulla via del ritorno mi sono fermato nuovamente davanti al ristornate AI Donizetti comprando i casoncelli freschi da fare per il giorno dopo a casa. L'esperienza in questo ristorante è stata fantastica e sicuramente ci torneremo. Al Top.
