A little behind the scenes but always a pleasure to come and eat here. Very good, very pleasant service and more than reasonable prices. Quiet and good time

We came here to try regional dishes and were satisfied: both traditional polenta (which was freshly cooked and still boiling in the pot), as well as gnocchi with cheese, normal coffee. A great option for undemanding customers at an adequate price. The waiting time was up to 15 minutes for both dishes, there were many guests.

We stumbled upon it by chance. Friendly staff and clean environment. A pleasantly retro place. Very good food. The polenta was nice and cheesy. Honest account. We had 3 first courses, 2 desserts, 1 water and 3 coffees for €41. Good coffee.

We got here completely random, the place isn't very inviting, but the dishes were really, really good, we were really surprised with how good the food is. It's not very crowded. The prices are really accessible. Overall, a good experience. Well, definitely return.

Ristorante onesto, abbiamo preso mocetta e lardo, polenta concia con salsicce e funghi porcini, polenta concia con cinghiale, acqua, ¼di vino rosso, totale 48 €. Tutto nella media, nulla di eccellente, ma un plauso particolare per averci accettato in un giorno in cui il mondo era confluito ad Aosta ed i ristoranti era tutti strapieni.

Le Village de Thumel

09/12/2023: I 50 minuti a piedi sulla strada innevata li vale tutti! Questo è, forse, il locale che più rispetta le aspettative di chi viene in Val D’Aosta. Tipica costruzione in pietra, tutto legno all’interno, caminetto dal calore “coccolante” e cibi tipicamente… montani. Assolutamente da provare le varie, gustosissime, zuppe, i gnocchi al “blue” di Aosta, lo stinco, la polenta… Per noi questa volta, ottime lumache in umido, tagliolini di grano “arso” con ragù di anatra e camoscio con marmellata di mirtilli, piatto fantastico, e polenta. Ah, volendo, ci si può arrivare anche in motoslitta.
21/07/2023: Posto in posizione stupenda, Beppe l'oste è una persona splendida e originale, cibo Top!! Ambiente molto bello, tutto in legno, rustico , caldo ed accogliente. Abbiamo cenato la sera appena arrivati in valle e subito abbiamo prenotato per la sera dopo, anche perché senza prenotazione non si cena. Abbiamo mangiato polenta con stinco di maiale e polenta con guanciale meravigliosi, teneri e gustosi, ottimo vino e ottimo dessert con torte e panna montata come una volta. Sicuramente ci torneremo.

Ristorante Pizzeria Al..Tarabas

27/02/2024: I live in an area where there are hundreds of pizzerias, both renowned and otherwise. I have eaten pizzas of all types and in many latitudes but Al Tarabas' pizza IS THE BEST. Light, thin, tasty, cooked well... The choice is varied and the beers are decent. Don't ever change..!!
26/02/2024: Best pizza ever eaten anywhere in Italy and elsewhere universal number 1. Low digestible exceptional exaggerating yes..... but to a fault
