27/09/2023: We came for lunch, or dropped in after walking from Corniglia. No reservation but we got a table quickly. All tables have the glorious sea view. The menu has lots of wonderful option. In the end I had a Ligurian octopus specialty for starter and grilled seafood plate as main course. Both were delicious. Often I find octopus can be a bit rubbery in texture but the one here was wonderful. The seafood plate was generous and nicely presented and also delicious. My wife had A local specialty with anchovies and then a caprese salad. Again both were generously portioned for starters. Some commentators have complained about the service. I can see where it comes from. Our experience was ok but not warm or helpful. He got irritated when we wanted to move from our table to another empty one with more shad (we had not yet ordered). We have seen this kind of service in several places and I wonder if it is an effect of having customers that are just visiting once, and very few regulars. And they do not rely on tips.
