Restaurant located in one of the most beautiful streets of Ferrara, two minutes walk from the walls and twenty minutes from the castle.
Very welcoming place with typical Ferrara cuisine. Very friendly staff and available to recommend both dishes and wines.

We came to the restaurant on the recommendation of an acquaintance. It opens onto a cobbled street, charming and silent. The environment is traditional and welcoming. Ferrara menu, rich and with off-menu. We gave in to the cappellacci, I to the ragù, divine, and my husband to the butter and shortcrust pastry, as per tradition. Salama with mashed potatoes as a second course. But how much more would we have liked to taste! Fast service, friendly and competent waiter. High price, but adequate for the times.

I tasted the starters at the buffet, they were normal, nothing extraordinary, the passatelli were very good, the salama da sugo was good even if it was a little too dry. It's definitely worth coming back anyway, I love Ferrara cuisine

su un corso meraviglioso, questo carinissimo ristorante storico offre piatti tipici della tradizione ferrarese. Ho trovato la scelta un tantino risicata, e soprattutto l’attesa molto troppo lunga. Il servizio non è stato particolarmente gentile, in un posto come questo ci si aspetta un po’ più di calore invece mi sono francamente apparsi assai sbrigativi e frettolosi. Abbiamo mangiato bene ma i prezzi sono un po' alti.
Buona cantina a prezzi abbastanza ragionevoli.
Peccato non ci sia una proposta di birre...a molti piace pasteggiare con birra in alternativa a vino ed acqua.
