La Quercia Antica In Villa di tirano

For more than thirty years, it has been the point of reference for pizzoccheri. Never eaten better, even trying various "academies" (I'm passionate about them) and "high level" restaurants. The rest is also excellent, but the pizzoccheri are at a higher level. The place is rough, the lady is typically frank, if you don't like her she won't hide it from you, but we are in a high mountain farmhouse and it's beautiful like that. I still remember when I dared to ask her for a renowned wine, instead of reordering theirs (it was perhaps the first year they produced it). He responded in kind and sulked throughout the day. But on the next outing they were in tune again :) I haven't been back in a while, but I'll make up for it very soon.

Prezzo fisso 30€ per pizzoccheri, sciat, dolcetti tutto di loro produzione, ma della serie questo passa oggi la cucina! Locale senza tante pretese, rustico, servizio spartano, si mangia bene ma elevato il prezzo...

Abbiamo mangiato bene, la signora molto gentile. Ma ci sono delle pecche da non sottovalutare: 1. Quando ci si siede al tavolo non si ha una lista dei prezzi per cui quando si va in cassa si ha la sorpresa del conto; 2. Non c'è possibilità di pagare con il POS solo ed esclusivamente in contanti! E secondo me questa è un grave errore soprattutto se non ci sono cartelli che lo dichiarano. Buono ma da non tornarci per via di queste due pecche che per me sono molto gravi!

Farmhouse with homemade cuisine, if you are not prepared you will be a little confused but overall it is worth it. There is no menu: the lady brings to the table a bowl of steaming pizzoccheri and a bowl of sciatt. Really good dishes, generous portions and low prices, 11 euros for the first course and 11 euros for the second course. Too bad about the dessert, I was expecting something homemade.

Positive experience. Typical Valtellina products. Pizzoccheri and sloppy. The Lady serves tables and cooks. We will definitely be back

The pizzoccheri are delicious and so are the cured meats. Very nice atmosphere and very kind owners.

Se gradite un ambiente informale, dove si mangia tutti all’ora giusta (per intenderci l’ora la decide il ristoratore non voi), Pizzoccheri e sciatt … Questo è il luogo giusto per voi. Se volete pranzare alla carta o alle 14:00 , meglio andare altrove NB Senza prenotazione e puntualità … credo sia meglio evitare

Molti buoni pizzoccheri e sciatt, meno i dolci fatti in casa. Buon vino della casa. Prezzo eccessivo, considerando il menù fisso e le porzioni non abbondanti.
