Excellent experience, very kind and friendly waitress. Very wide choice, especially of gins. I wasn't crazy about my soft drink, it didn't have much flavor but the fake brule was a great tip! they also brought some snacks and they were great. (alcoholic €14, non-alcoholic €12)

Situato in zona porta Venezia, in area di ristoranti, praticamente centro città. Il locale si snoda in più sale, le pareti scure rendono l'ambiente intimo ma un po' cavernoso. Il menù offerto segue i gusti del proprietario chef, svariando su vari sapori locali e non, in grado di assecondare una sufficiente parte di richieste. Il menù compatto, manca forse un piatto per ogni categoria. I vini nelle norma. Il servizio prova ad assecondare gusti dei clienti, forse va un po' affinato. Ma il vero problema é il costo, 100 euro a persona, per 2 piatti + calice vino + dolce, completamente inadeguato. Se il target del ristorante é questo livello di prezzo, va rivista completamente tutta la situazione, perché la materia prima offerta diventa modesta, il servizio completamente inadeguato, la gestione totalmente sbagliata. Il presso va tagliato del 30%.

I walked four kilometres through Milan to dine here. I am glad I did. The five course tasting menu was sublime. Delicate, fragrant and textured with influences from multiple cuisines - Spain, France, Sardinia, Korea and Singapore in this case. Charming staff. A great restaurant by any measure.

There truly aren’t enough superlatives to describe the experience at La Societa Milano. From the moment we arrived Giulia took such amazing care of us starting with helping us to choose from a selection of over 100+ gins (over half made in Italy) to serving and describing each course that the incredible Andrea created in his kitchen. She was so warm, friendly and welcoming and the dining room (we sat at a table in the front room) is comfortable and intimate. The 5-course tasting menu was phenomenal. I’m going to post pictures but apologize in advance to Andrea and Giulia if I forget an ingredient or mislabel something; there is so much artistry in what comes out of the kitchen it was hard to keep up, but I don’t say that in a precious, tony way I say it in a “how could he have thought of this dish?”. We started with a “Cappucino”, a velvety smooth mousse that was both savory and a little sweet with a crunchy biscotti topping; fantastic start to the dinner. Next we were served sliced mushroom (I don’t recall which type) in a Thai peanut sauce that was surrounded by an Asian sesame sauce topped with two paper thin rice “crackers”. The mushrooms were meaty and the sauces lended a savory and spicy kick to the dish. Next was veal tongue served with an onion cream, herb pesto and jam and served over thinly sliced persimmons. I am not normally a fan of tongue, but this was sliced paper thin it was incredibly delicate and with the condiments and fruit created such a mix of amazing flavors and textures. Next came homemade fusilloni (slight larger and thicker than normal fusilli) served with octopus ragu (?) and a parmesan cream and - wait for it - cocoa powder. This dish was phenomenal; the parmesan brought out the flavor of the cocoa without making it sweet; definitely savory and the slight saltiness of the ragu and the fusilloni was cooked to a perfect al denté. Seared duck breast was next and came with a carrot purée with a pool of herb cream and herbed butter; perfection. Dessert was a poached apple tart with a homemade ice cream. I am sure the menu changes based on what Chef Andrea can source locally, but the above gives you an idea of the style and quality of the meal. Giulia was a delight throughout the meal, giving each table her personal attention. This husband and wife team have accomplished something unmatched in Milan and you MUST book a table and experience it for yourself. BEYOND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Refined atmosphere, friendly staff. The only flaw is that there is little choice on the menu and dishes that are too particular.

Tout parfait du début à la fin. Menu et accord vin un régal pour les yeux et les papilles. Des découvertes, de subtile association de goût. Nous sommes venus avec nôtre fille de 5ans la cuisine lui a préparé une magnifique assiette et un dessert sur mesure. Les cocktails en apéro juste incroyable. Je recommande fortement. Encore un immense merci à toute l'équipe j'ai passé une soirée d'anniversaire inoubliable. Grazie mille

We found this place on our trip to Milan and it was a really special experience. We did a tasting menu, and every course was passionately explained to us by the chef, down to how he chose some of the plates. It was the perfect place for a romantic dinner!
