05/04/2024: Overall it was a more than positive experience. I went with some friends and I didn't know what expectations. Having noticed the prices on the menu, I then changed my mind, expecting to find quality ingredients: that's what happened. I took a simple daisy and it is precisely from the simplicity that you understand the essential thing. Good quality of the ingredients, the dough delicious and cooked to perfection even if a little too "rustic" but de gustibus! The staff is a little aseptic but very helpful. The ambiance didn't really convince me but the pizza is a worthy competitor, guaranteed. I'll come back.
30/03/2024: Well-kept, modern, welcoming place. Friendly, helpful, professional staff and fast service.
We chose two pizzas which we divided: it is difficult to find such a high level in Catania, both in terms of the dough, wholemeal flour with long leavening and maturation, and the quality of the ingredients.
We have choosen:
- "Margherita Verace" pizza (organic peeled tomato, Apulian fiordilatte, flakes of Grana Padano DOP, basil and extra virgin olive oil);
- "raw ham and lump burrata" pizza (Fiordilatte di Andria I.G.P., burrata, confit yellow datterini tomatoes, 24 month Artemano raw ham, basil, Geraci extra virgin olive oil, natural Sicilian orange flavour).
It was a remarkable and rare tasting experience in the Catania context. The dough was very light, to the point that eating the edges was a spontaneous habit. It wasn't salty at all and didn't cause any digestion problems.
The ingredients are genuine, fresh and of a high standard.
Tasty potatoes.
Tested national craft beer from Etna: High level.
Decent sweet ricotta and toasted almonds.
High prices (about 30%-40% above the local average)
