The welcome appetizer (a bite of Russian salad with industrial mayonnaise) arrived an hour after we sat down, a delay which in my opinion compromises the hospitality of the gesture. After all, we waited without the comfort of a glass of wine, sipping water and munching on breadsticks, over twenty minutes to receive the menus and just as many before being able to order. The marinated salmon with raw red prawns and fresh goat cheese was a mass of very salty smoked salmon slices, improbably greasy and contained a single (I repeat: ONE SINGLE) red prawn! A few splashes of fresh goat's cheese cream and the garnish of a halved strawberry were unfortunately not enough to redeem a dish devoid of character. The octopus with smoked potato ennobled by ginger is much more balanced and the Fish 'n' chips is unfortunately lackluster. I experienced all appearance and little substance, but I hope to be able to change my mind in the future.

Excellent restaurant from every point of view. A certainty. I kept one more star in my wallet because I want to try it one more time to be truly sure that it deserves the maximum score. Just a note: the chairs! It would be better to avoid such rigid seating, because at the table one must eat good things but above all one must be comfortable. An old friend of mine, a great chef who has now passed away, told me this. I'm talking about Silvio Rivolta, former patron of Bon Tan in San Mauro. Treasure it.

Ci ero già stata, entusiasta ! Questa volta no: vitello tonnato troppo saporito, gnocchi anonimi. Torta di nocciole non freschissima accompagnata però ad un divino zabaione. Rivedrei il personale: due cameriere seccate , infastidite e frettolose nello svolgere il loro lavoro e soprattutto poco delicate nel porgere le portate.

Locale carino e ben curato. Personale attento e disponibile e servizio veloce. Il menù spazia dai piatti di carne della tradizione alle proposte di pesce. Una nota per gli agnolotti d'asino in salsa al barbera davvero convincenti.
