La Terrazza della Chiusa delle More In Peschici

We felt very comfortable! Small family hotel, very quiet in the middle of olive groves, a place to relax. You can walk to the beach or to the town of Peschici. The kitchen deserves stars. The breakfast is phenomenal, lots of sweet and savory treats, freshly prepared. We enjoyed dinner on 2 evenings, there is a set menu created by the boss, you rarely get anything better in Italy, and the price is cheaper than in most restaurants. We will come back.

I would recommend this place, especially for its cuisine which is divine in terms of the rooms disappointed Nice swimming pool but no place to have an aperitif, nice view of the olive trees and the village in the distance in the evening

Dans un cadre des plus calme, une jolie terrasse de style italien avec vue sur la ville de Peschici et un repas des plus réussi. Un vrai régal, finesse, gourmands tout était délicieux. De plus large choix de vins de qualité.

Truly unique, well-kept, well-managed place. Typical local cuisine, homely from the first course to the last. Ample space for parking, for walking, swimming pool, reading room. Impeccable care of the place with a frame of stones to outline the imposing olive trees, cacti etc.. the road frame in tuff & what about the imposing asymmetrical olive tree plantation of which a good half was paved with a grassy surface where a fabulous evening of chik Nic entertained with a mandolin & drum band like pizzica. What about the external facade between staircases and exposed stone walls. Truly enchanting as an advertising spot for the building material of Tarantino stones.....

Quite disappointed by the dinner here — we read about it in the NYT and had high hopes but the meal was overpriced and underwhelming: dry fried fish that didn’t seem particularly fresh, the pasta was good but not for 40 euros a person (without drinks). Service was pretentious and cold (we were handed the wine list and told to order wine without knowing what we’d be eating; the waiter wasn’t friendly and didn’t describe each dish, and spent much of the meal looking at our table uncomfortably). Can’t speak for the hotel itself, which seemed lovely, but this was our worst and most expensive meal during a week in Peschici.

Siamo rimasti stupiti dalla qualità della cucina, dalla raffinatezza del servizio e dalla bellezza della location, immersa in un giardino pieno di ulivi secolari. Peraltro tutto inaspettato visto che pensavamo di andare nella classica masseria pugliese e non in un posto davvero raffinato. Il prezzo è fisso, 45 euro a testa cui occorre aggiungere quello del vino, ma meritatissimi e nulla toglie alla meraviglia di tutto, un posto davvero da consigliare e dove torneremo certamente la prossima volta a Peschici.
