Ok to eat. Not spectacular, but not bad either. The service is ok. The lasagna is delicious as is the pasta salsa.

Incredibile atmosphere!! Very simple food but delicious! Incredible and authentic host. Definitely I “must to try” especially because NOT TOURISTIC” at all!

The restaurant ranking you look for when you think of "little expense, great return", with €17 each we had lunch with a house starter, 2 first courses, water and 2 coffees. The owner is kind and attentive towards customers, especially pointing out that he updates the order every time he serves the dishes. Good quality/price ratio, delicious food.

A very authentic place, like entering an Italian movie. The place is small but the food is delicious. They also have a very good wine of their own. Thank you Peppino!

Real Neapolitan cuisine, in the heart of the district, where you can feel the atmosphere of this city. It is as if we entered one of the home kitchens, sat down at the table, and the host brought us freshly cooked pene-extra.

After a week in Italy, this was the best meal we had. Such an endearing small local stop tucked into the neighborhood. Everybody should enjoy a meal here. We ordered a bottle of wine, meatballs, gnocchi, and spaghetti with clams. I will dream about this meal for the rest of my life.

Coup de cœur !!! Nous avons poussé la porte de chez Peppino grâce à son adresse répertoriée dans le guide du routard. Sans cela nous ne nous serions probablement jamais arrêtées. Nous aurions fait une belle erreur, car quelle belle adresse du quartier Espagnol ! Nous sommes retournées chez Peppino 3 fois en 4 jours 😆😍 l'impression d'être "comme à la maison". Peppino est un personnage attachant et réconfortant, tout comme sa cuisine. C'est simple, bien fait, bien assaisonnés, que des bons produits frais dans l'assiette, et tout ça pour un prix tout à fait raisonnable. On repart de chez Pappino avec le sourire, et le sentiment d'avoir passé un excellent moment, autant dans l'assiette que humainement. Nous avons adoré: les pastas alla pomdoro, les polpettes de viandes, le poulpe mariné, les gnocchis, la torta caprese et pour finir le vrai café Napolitain 🤌 Nous reviendrons c'est certain ! :) Les deux sœurs Françaises (Bretonnes) Hélène et Julie

Già dalla prenotazione telefonico mi rendo conto che Raffaele, il proprietario, è una persona cortese e simpatica. Il locale è piccolo e spartano, noi eravamo in 6 + passeggino ma Raffaele ci ha ricavato spazio sufficiente e ci ha accolti con frittate di cipolle e di zucchine (ottime!), alici dorate e fritte, polpette di melanzane, salsicce e friarielli. Le preparazioni sono semplici ed autentiche, i sapori sono quelli della tradizione. Abbiamo proseguito con assaggi di pasta alla genovese, spaghetti con le vongole e gnocchi alla sorrentina, un piatto più buono dell’altro. Per finire abbiamo assaggiato gli involtini di carne e quelli di cotica: ottimi anche quelli. Assolutamente consigliato!

Il locale è piuttosto piccolo ma particolare, frequentato principalmente da napoletani, con un'accoglienza senza fronzoli. I primi piatti sono ottimi e molto economici. Consigliato a chi si trova dalle parti di Santa Lucia.
