The town itself breathes tradition, especially with its delightful Bagoss cheese and medieval roots. What particularly struck me was the skillful blend of tradition with a hint of extravagance. My venison stew was a flavor explosion that captured the essence of Christmas, autumn, and winter. The spices, including cinnamon and cloves, were masterfully dosed, while the tender meat and perfectly cooked polenta rounded off the overall experience. We found the trattoria along our walk in nice Bagolino and it was a beautiful surprise. The owners treated us very well. Sara and her mom welcomed us despite us being quite late for lunch. Tables were full and we got some good Prosecco to enjoy the wait. Food was good, typical and well thought through. Sara is a force of nature and the waiters were very nice too. I totally recommend this!

Ultimo giorno di Novembre e primo giorno di Neve! Dopo una visita da Amerigo per procurarsi il Bagòss, si arriva per pranzo alla Trattoria del Viandante, dove l'accoglienza è super e il cibo ottimo e la cantina curata con vini biologici e di qualità. Complimenti continuate così ci rivedremo sicuramente.
