I had a lemon milkshake. It was quite good, but €4.50 for a very small milkshake is not at all affordable. I was not satisfied and they also did not give me the receipt

Delicious gelato with a lovely texture. 3.50 euros for a medio cono is pretty standard for Tuscany, so to only pay that at a shop on the main square is impressive. My son thought the strawberry was lovely and the stracciatella had lots of chocolate in it. I had the coffee (creamy and sweet) and the melon, which was to die for. The lady who served us was very pleasant. 🍦

Five star ice cream, really good. Too bad for the girl behind the counter who is very rude. He should work in the back room and not in contact with the customer.

L’Artigniano Gelato is very conveniently located on PIazza IV Novembre, next to the cathedral. There might be better gelato around but this is a very easy place to stop in the centre of Perugia and the gelato was pretty nice on a hot day. The range of flavours was fairly typical and much what you would expect and the prices seemed to be fairly standard (it certainly wasn’t over-priced just because it was in the main square). There is no seating inside (which is not unusual) but there’s a single bench outside the shop which looks across the square at the Palazzo dei Priori. This is where we sat.

The prices are normal in 2023 summer. You can choose small, medium and large. Cone and cap is available. The ice cream is delicious, I think it's worth the price, especially in the summer when it's very hot. It's nice and cool. You can see the prices in my photo.
