Good food, normal service Ancient environment to be seen again

One Sunday for lunch, accompanied by a friend who knows this restaurant well, we are welcomed with warmth and courtesy and are made to sit at a table next to the open kitchen. Not too complicated but essential menu, with the autumnal variant of fried mushrooms. We choose as first courses a plate of spaghetti with clams and one of Castelmagno gnocchi with chopped pistachios, both very good. We indulge in fried mushrooms (abundant portion, I must say) with a good house Barbera. The service was precise and friendly. Price more than reasonable.

Accompagnato da un amico che conosce bene questo ristorante, siamo accolti con calore e cortesia e ci fanno accomodare ad un tavolo di fianco alla cucina a vista. Menu non troppo complicato ma essenziale, con la variante autunnale dei funghi fritti. Scegliamo come primi un piatto di spaghetti alle vongole ed uno di gnocchi al Castelmagno con granella di pistacchio, entrambi molto buoni. Ci concediamo i funghi fritti (razione abbondante, devo dire) con un buon Barbera della casa. Il servizio è stato preciso e cordiale. Prezzo più che ragionevole.
