Lido Bambù In Monopoli

Helpful staff at this beachside restaurant. Lots of sun loungers which are not free. Beach area of restaurant is small. Showers available. Food was good.

A great way to spend a day of leisure and really feel like you are on vacation! We spent the last of our 10 days in Puglia here and what a treat! End of season so 2 lounges and an umbrella in the front row was €40. Towels and a small Evian spritz is provided. The restaurant on site had good food and wine options - this is not a beach shack! Services also provided to you on the beach ( for a premium). Bathrooms were clean. Plenty of room between seating so you do not feel on top of your neighbor. We were there first week of October and many of the beach clubs had already closed for the season. It was not busy, but there were other people there - maybe 1/3 capacity. It was pricey but we hadn’t done much besides eat and drink on vacation so we felt the splurge was worth it. I did not go for a swim, there were some large rocks on the beach, but it appeared to be otherwise sandy. The water was cool.
