I love reading in bars, I think it's my favorite thing in the world. And for a few years now, if you read a book in a bar in the Gargano in August, some owners treat you like a thief who is stealing money from them. Here, however, not only was I treated well, but their croissants are among the best in Vieste. The waitress who served in August was kind, smiling, and not at all provincial. I went back as soon as I could. My favorite bar in the city.
