While touring Volterra we stopped for probably the best gelato experience. Even with a line at the counter we waited and then enjoyed the best Pistacchio gelato. Hopefully we will be back to enjoy it again.

Winner of gelato championships 2017/2018. Excellent quality and flavours. Delicious champion fresh mint. Beats Dondole in San Gimignano easily (previous favourite now sadly diminished). Didn’t try enough to know it’s the best in Volterra - but seems likely…

20/01/2024: Incuriositi dal nome e dal lungo menu scritto sulla lavagnetta esposta all'ingresso siamo andati in questo ristorante (e ci siamo poi tornati altre volte). Piatti della tradizione, spesso rivisitati, tutti cucinati con passione e ottimi (anche grazie agli ingredienti di prima qualità). Trattandosi in primo luogo di una enoteca, Per me non è un problema, ma segnalo per quelli a cui può dare fastidio che il servizio è un po' lento perché evidentemente c'è un'unica persona in cucina. Tuttavia, a mio parere vale la pena aspettare.
21/11/2023: Erano anni che non cenavo in questo piccolo ristorante/enoteca. Ottimi i piatti una piccola menzione alla zuppa di cipolle. Servizio informale e molto simpatico. Ottima lista dei vini. Prezzi ottimi. Da consigliare

Osteria Ribe’

03/04/2024: Four of us dined here and it was delicious! The waiter was extremely friendly and accommodating. He made a lot of jokes and accompanied us through the evening. Our recommendation: The starter platter: Tagliere Toscano
04/03/2024: I arrived at the Ribè tavern thanks to a sensorial journey in the woods. Rainy Sunday, but not for us who found a corner of rainbow inside. The tavern is small, simple, but it speaks! Of the passion with which its owner wanted it and directs it. The food was amazing! An olfactory and visual journey into the gods of the earth. Courageous combinations and enveloping flavors that pamper the palate. Truly a pleasant discovery that I highly recommend. And…I forgot, Monica loves challenges… Yesterday he made an entirely vegetarian menu, which he had never proposed, for 10+ Remember to ask for the orange liqueur made by her to close the meal!
