Optimal. The owners and staff do their job with great passion. The quality of the food is excellent, plentiful and not expensive. All dishes are taken care of down to the smallest detail. It's worth coming to Rome, even from afar, just to go to dinner or lunch at the Isola della Pizza! See you soon!

Called a pizzeria, read Roman trattoria. Place with friendly staff (Lello above all). Everyone is super friendly and traditional Roman food. Thin and good pizzas. Slightly long waiting times on weekends but that's OK.... The first courses are served directly into the pans. We went back twice because it's worth it. Fair price. Good portions. In this period it's better to book...

Zona Prati/Vaticano. Locale a vocazione turistica (data la posizione) ma nel complesso buona soluzione. Disponi anche di tavoli all'aperto. Visitato a pranzo non abbiamo provato la pizza ma primi e carne alla griglia. Potremmo ritornarci.

14/05/2024: Fabulous local, great service and and atmosphere! Amazingly patient waitress, she took time to explain to all the various dishes. Lovely food, great wines. Pasta was some of the best we have had in Rome. Save room for desert, the various options were tried by our large group and all were yummy!

08/05/2024: First experience after the change of management. This simple but welcoming restaurant offers sincere and tasty dishes, just like what you would expect from a neighborhood kitchen. The staff is friendly and makes you feel like part of the family. My 4 year old daughter literally devoured a plate of matriciana. If you want to taste local tradition or Roman pizza I can only recommend this restaurant. I will definitely be back.
