We have been to this place over and over again and we always have a good time. The environment is quiet and relaxed, we never found any confusion. The style of the restaurant does not have its own precise identity, the urban style prevails which however puts you at ease and allows those who enter the restaurant to "disconnect" from everyday life and find themselves in an environment with staff who are always polite, with a smile. Last time the burger was really good, made up of very light bread, served with a homemade BBQ sauce. Good vegan home cooking, without compromising on goodness or ingredients.

Primo e principale ristorante vegano a Piacenza, presente ormai da una decina d'anni. Situato in centro, a pochi passi dalla famosa Piazza Cavalli, si presenta con uno stile semplice, ben curato, con un menù che alterna i "cavalli di battaglia" del locale (come ad esempio il kebab di verdure - vedi foto) a piatti di stagione per avere sempre prodotti freschi e di buona qualità. Provato diverse volte (pur non essendo io vegano) per un pranzo o una cena leggeri e diversi dal solito, sempre con piacevole soddisfazione e spendendo mai più di 15 euro a testa, acqua e caffè compresi. Nei weekend e per cena (lunedì giorno di chiusura) meglio una telefonata di sicurezza per prenotare.

In my experience, it has been difficult to find vegetarian/vegan home cooked Italian food in ambient environments, but Lo Fai delivered! I had the braised seitan with polenta and it was such a comforting dish. Cooked and seasoned to perfection! My partner had a sweet potato soup which was also delicious but a bit too cool by the time it arrived. The Mille foglie was fab. It was a twist on the original, including dark chocolate shavings and candied nuts. Another perfect dish! Lovely staff too! Thank you. Dog friendly ❤️

02/04/2024: Ate at Easter, beautiful place with magnificent view, excellent food, not only the typical Piacenza dishes. Worth mentioning are the delicious appetizers and the perfectly revisited pisarei. Paid the right price. The family that runs it is exemplary.
31/03/2024: Pleasant discovery!!! You can get there easily from Borgonovo, spectacular view!!!! I ate some alternative pisarei, particular but very good, but I must say that I really appreciated the service, attentive and thoughtful!!! I will definitely return in the summer to enjoy some fresh air and colours!!! Thanks to the whole family!!!
