A little difficult to find but good and affordable food

Really enjoyable ☺️ We had dinner here as a couple, we had a really good time, a homely place and it is located in a strategic point, really low prices for being in 2024, we had various courses, to taste various things... among these: Mountain appetizer, quite abundant, plenty of bread, Sorrento style gnocchi, melted Podolico caciocavallo with speck and a potato pie... all accompanied with a bottle of red wine from the notary's cellars and he also gave us the digestive, which was liquorice (we don't know if it was homemade or something because it was really good, I'll ask him next time we go). The owner was very welcoming and helpful… One thing that I noticed a lot and that we care a lot about the "elegance" of the service... he changed our cutlery for each course and replaced the glasses that were intended for other wines. We will definitely return.

A place of the heart, food from the past cooked as it was once done, a characteristic location and Federico's typical kindness. It's like eating at grandma's house, exceptional. Definitely low prices NDR.

Avevamo letto recensioni positive sulla locanda da Federico, ma non pensavamo che si mangiasse così bene! Abbiamo preso in 3 un antipasto di verdure, caciocavallo podolico fuso, un piatto di pasta al sugo di cinghiale( squisita e super abbondante), la trippa con patate ( tenera e gustosa), arrosto di maiale, una pizza, vino della casa ottimo, profiteroles e abbiamo pagato 40 soltanto. Ci ritornerei volentieri spesso, ma abito a 260 km da Lagonegro! Che peccato.

La conferma riguarda la sicura affidabilità di questo locale per il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Forse nelle preparazioni dei piatti c'è un uso del pomodoro troppo frequente. Ma per il resto tutto in positivo.
