Locanda Del Cavaliere In San bartolomeo al mare

We had a fabulous meal at Locanda del Cavaliere. The food was beautifully prepared from local ingredients by Chef Marco and well served by our sweet waiter. From the hot homemade bread, a local red wine, the tartare with house made black garlic sauce, and lamb raised two km away, to the house dessert, we enjoyed every bite. Our meal was a lovely finish to two days at Torre Del Nera.

Beautiful location.. excellent service.... remarkable chef... anchovy and lemon risotto 🍋... amazing.... but also all the dishes eaten... all very good

We had dinner in a beautiful room with stone walls where the atmosphere and attention to detail immediately caught our attention. The menu is small and well structured, the selection of wines is satisfactory, we drank an excellent Franciacorta which I would gladly order again. We really liked the dishes we tasted, from the appetizer to the dessert, and I particularly recommend the raw tuna. We also appreciated the professionalism and kindness of the staff which unfortunately is not a given in all facilities. Absolutely average price considering the quality of the dishes and the service. Very nice place that deserves a 9, some dishes are also for vegans...These are the strong points, but high costs compared to quality and portions..YEAR 2024 I am changing the review..the chef has changed and there is NO LONGER the choice vegan on the menu, a detail that made the place special....now standardized to other restaurants, medium-high prices: 4 of us had 4 courses, 3 desserts and 1 wine for 25 euros: around 34 euros each. Small portions. ordivago service. ...kind waitress, waiter on his own. For the owner who replies that she's sorry but actually doesn't care because it's the only negative criticism, instead of saying that they will try to reintroduce vegan dishes: take a course in good manners...it's for this way of doing things that the welcome Ligurian is considered one of the worst

Location vicina al casello autostradale o non lontana dalla via Aurelia , con il mare adiacente . Molto piacevole il grande giardino idoneo a eventi o a una serata sotto le stelle per una cena di coppia o conviviale . Per noi “quasi “ una prima volta , ben conosciamo lo chef e il suo team sia di cucina che di sala . Piatti liguri in abbondanza rivisitati con garbo , cucina leggera , pochi conndimenti di base . Pescato sempre presente etc… etc.. , non descriviamo le pietanze volutamente , se andrete ….. , ritornerete a breve …….ne vale “ molto “ il conto che è più che adeguato alla reale qualità servita , dimenticavo la proprietà è sempre presente … attenta e cordiale sinonimo di cura verso il cliente …., un difetto lo abbiamo trovato ..! Parking difficile in zona ….non adesso .., ma in estate bisognerà’ fare qualche metro a piedi ( utile x il dopo ….! ) A prestissimo .

Peccato solo per il tavolo un po’ troppo vicino all’ingresso…ma dal punto di vista degustativo tutto di gran qualità ! Molto buono il polpo, ottimi anche i ravioli, buona e ben cucinata la ventresca di tonno con verdure e puntarelle. Molto gradevole il dolce al cioccolato. Servizio e conto adeguati ! Non molto assortita la carta dei vini è piuttosto basica per lo standard del locale.

First dinner at the Locanda. Excellent menu, high level service and honest prices. Definitely worth returning especially in summer to dine in the garden.
