On Saturday 13th January, my friend Vincent and I are in Liguria, he suggests we have lunch at the Locanda del Rio, a place that he says he must visit every time he is in Liguria. The place appears a little dated, with spartan furnishings, but clean and welcoming. We decide to have a mixed fish starter, the fried anchovies are perfect, we skip the first course, for the second course we accept the waitress's advice, we take the San Pietro with artichokes, in the end we find an excellent choice, delicious and delicate to say the least on the palate, all accompanied by a good Pigato Ligure. I recommend everyone to take a ride. Excellent experience.

Good all-fish restaurant. Essential and simple furnishings. We ate grilled meat (6 types of fresh fish) and amberjack fillet with artichokes. Little choice of wines but perhaps because the restaurant was going on holiday. Account consistent with the quality of the fish but not for the type of very basic restaurant. Still, a positive surprise.

Se potessi darei 6 stelle! Abbiamo cenato con antipasto, frittura e dolce, bevuto acqua e speso 38 €/cad. Considerando che è TUTTO A CON PESCE FRESCO mi sembra un prezzo onesto, soprattutto per gli standard della Liguria. Oltre al mio palato e al mio olfatto, che hanno gradito molto, anche la digeribilità del cibo è ineccepibile. Ultima cosa: il posto è semplice e manca forse di un restyling ... ma non lasciatevi ingannare dalle apparenze, il ristorante è frequentato soprattutto dai locali che amano il buon pesce e sanno che qui la cucina non delude mai e non trovi le "fregature" per turisti. Vivamente consigliato!

Vagando per strade varie sopra Finale Ligure ci siamo imbattuti in questo locale, era ora di pranzo e ci è parso un posto tranquillo. La nostra intuizione è stata effettivamente felice. Cucina ottima, porzioni abbondanti, un fritto misto ottimo. Se passate da queste parti ne vale veramente la pena!

What can I say? a restaurant where you have everything! Very clean! and quality and courtesy they are not missing!
