An unusual place serving quality family cuisine. The son serving, the mama in the kitchen. Everything is good there, from the homemade soup of the day to the pasta of course. The decor has an old-fashioned charm that adds to the family atmosphere. You absolutely have to open the door of this establishment, just a stone's throw from the campo square.

We didn’t stay at the place but had lunch there after being turned away from many restaurants in the city despite low season. What a surprise find! This family run restaurant serves superb Tuscan food. 8 of us ended up eating 12 portions of pasta and meat. The Carbonara was excellent and so was the steak. The sauce was not too creamy and tasteful. Best pasta we had on this trip.

Loved this home style, family run trattoria. I was travelling alone and felt so comfortable here, had the pici con pepe (10/10), verdura (10/10) and the in season homemade by mama chestnut and chocolate tart (10/10). Grazie mille

03/04/2024: NO COMMENT ??? No Comment why?!? What about when the ingredients are of the highest quality? When are they elaborated and assembled with expert craftsmanship? When are they served with genuine sympathy? How can we find the appropriate words to express gratitude to those who allow us to enjoy such excellence? For me "BACCANO" PRATRIMONIO OF HUMANITY...like the Historic Center in which it is set. If you find a queue at the door, don't give up. The wait will be abundantly rewarded by the traditional nature of this place. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Lino (Genoa)
