Locanda Macconago In Milano

Good trattoria on the outskirts of Milan with a good level of food and prices that aren't exactly trattoria-like... some uncertainty in the service from the young waiters and prices in the center of Milan. I would improve the exterior, but maybe still winter and I think that in the summer it is better!

I went to the inn for lunch with colleagues. The place is beautiful, it doesn't even feel like being in Milan, surrounded by greenery and tranquility. Much attention is paid to the refinement of the dishes, revisited in a gourmet key. Unfortunately, however, an unpleasant episode occurred which does not allow me to give 5 stars. I was served a plate where I found a hair inside, I notified the lady in the dining room who promptly took the plate away. I expected to receive one in exchange, or that it would be discounted from the total cost but unfortunately this was not the case: no explanation on the matter and more than half the plate not consumed. I'm very sorry because it's a place I would return to, but how this situation was handled left me a little dumbfounded. Response to owner: Good evening Mr Alessandro, thank you for your reply and I will therefore correct what was said above regarding the management of the situation. Unfortunately, the message was not conveyed clearly. I will definitely return because the food is excellent and the atmosphere is intimate and pleasant. After hearing so much about it, I can confirm that it's worth it! I hope to return even in good weather to be outside.

Very suggestive environment, it doesn't feel like being in Milan, location even inside with great attention to detail. Great food, I'll be back!

The best risotto I have ever eaten

The place is very welcoming, it seems to be out of time despite being in Milan 200 meters from the IEO. Very short menu with quality ingredients cooked very well. Traditional dishes revisited with a touch of imagination. Wine list very close to the Lombardy region. The only flaw is that the place is only open for lunch from Monday to Saturday.

Piatti ottimi, ambiente rustico ben curato, ottimo servizio, prezzo all altezza dei piatti, menù stagionale, peccato che sia chiuso festivi

Locanda ai margini di via Ripamonti e a ridosso del centro ippico. Nonostante la giornata piovosa e umida, qua di si arriva davanti alla locanda di apre un posto di altri tempi. Esternamente molto accogliente e come fare un salto nel passato. Gentili ed accoglienti sia gli ambienti che il personale. Piatti con decorazioni e gusto nell’impiattamento. Ottimi i sapori e in linea il prezzo con la qualità offerta. Una bella sorpresa. Piatti forti nei risotti posti in varietà diversi e con temi della stagione.
